We did it. Australian Champions. 🏆

I've been sitting with this one for a few days because honestly, I still don't have the words. Four years running as a finalist, and this year 24/7 Care Disability Services and Activity Hub was named Australian Champion – Large Disability Support Services at the 2026 Australian Women Small Business Champion Awards. Surreal doesn't even cover it. Just being in that room amongst the women and business leaders of this country was an honour. I never expected to win. I never thought it would be us.

Then they called our name.

Holding that trophy and looking out at the crowd was a feeling like no other. Daunting. OMG. Holy sh*t, we did it. Every word I've ever known left my brain at once.

And then the sink-in moment. The look on my mum's face, and my dad's, but especially Mum. Seeing her proud of me. I said, "Well, look at that… my teachers would be gobsmacked." This was for every assembly I never walked up at, every award I never brought home, every test I failed. All the tears, the heartache and the sleepless nights, landing all at once. Making that call and seeing my daughters' faces is a moment I will cherish forever. This award belongs to a phenomenal team, a tribe that keeps growing. And to my OGs, Ellen and Chris: four years by my side through every setback, every fire, every curve ball. You were there when we were named Australian Champions. This is ours.

It took me a while to let myself say it, but here it is: we deserve this. We worked hard, the whole team did, and we earned our place on that stage alongside the best in the country.

To our participants and families, thank you for trusting us. Everything we do is for you. 💜💚
