Something a little different is coming this August! 📅

We've teamed up with IT 4 Retirees to offer FREE digital skills workshops right here at our Tuggerah office. Four Wednesday sessions throughout August, small groups, friendly trainers and complimentary morning tea included.

Whether you want to feel more confident using your iPhone, iPad, Android or laptop, these workshops are designed for you. No experience needed. Just bring your device.

Places are strictly limited, so bookings are essential.

There will be no meal deliveries or orders on this day. Meals can still be ordered online via www.ccmow.com.au.

It's National Volunteer Week, an opportunity to recognise and thank our incredible volunteers who are the heart of Meals on Wheels Central Coast. Quite literally, none of this happens without you. 💛

22,000 meals a month. Thousands of doorstep chats. A friendly smile and a welcoming hello. You truly make a difference in the lives of people across the Coast every single week.

You give your time, your energy and your kindness, turning a meal into so much more than just a meal.

It’s also been a busy week here at MOWCC, with many special visitors coming through to celebrate and thank our volunteers. Earlier this month, volunteers also received a meal from Activate Foods, our fresh meal range, as a small token of appreciation for everything they do.

To every volunteer, past and present, thank you for everything you do for our community. 🫶

This Volunteer Week, the Plan Tracker team was proud to support Meals on Wheels by helping pack meals for our community. 💜

Interested in volunteering with Meals on Wheels Central Coast? 👋

Come and find us at the Central Coast Volunteer Expo tomorrow (Wednesday 20 May), from 10am to 1:30pm at the Erina Centre (Ground Floor, Erina Fair, near Erina Library).

Our team will be there to chat about what volunteering with us really looks like. Whether you’ve got a couple of hours a week or you’re simply curious about how it all works, drop in and say hello.

It’s a free community event with many local organisations attending, so it’s also a great opportunity to see what’s happening across the Coast.

This week is Volunteer Week, and today we had the privilege of volunteering with Meals on Wheels 💜

It was a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and support the incredible work they do for NDIS participants and others in need.

At our service, we are passionate about helping participants navigate their NDIS journey with confidence. If you have any questions regarding your NDIS funding or supports, our team is here to help.

Today we pause to remember and honour all those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We’re so proud to introduce our Volunteers of the Month — Dennis and Kathy Collins from our Tuggerah outlet 💛

For seven years, this incredible couple have been delivering more than just meals — they bring warmth, kindness, and genuine care to every visit.

Their nomination came from a heartfelt handwritten note by one of their clients, Kathleen, who shared that they always arrive with a smile and ask, “Are you ok, can I be of help?”

That simple act of kindness is exactly what Meals on Wheels Central Coast is all about.

Congratulations Dennis and Kathy, and thank you Kathleen for your beautiful words.
