Despite the challenging cold and windy weather today, it was wonderful to see such a great number of children attend our Nepalese Kids Classes. Your enthusiasm and commitment to learning and staying connected with our culture are truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to HAPPY Daju for generously volunteering your time and effort to teach and engage with the kids today. Your dedication is greatly appreciated by our students, parents, and community.

Namaskar community members 🇳🇵❤️

Today’s Nepali Kids Classes was a great success with the participation of 21 students. It was wonderful to see our children actively engaged in learning, culture, and community connection.

A special thank you to Mela D for your time, dedication, and continuous support in teaching our children.

We also celebrated Riyan’s 9th birthday together, making the day even more special with beautiful community vibes and joyful moments. 🎂🎉

A big thank you to all volunteers, parents, and students for making this community event meaningful and enjoyable. Together we continue to strengthen our culture, language, and community connection for the next generation.

Welcome back to Term 2, 2026!

We are excited to restart our Nepalese Kids Classes and continue this beautiful journey of learning, sharing, and growing together as a community. These classes are more than just a place for kids to gather—they are a space where our culture, language, and heritage come alive.

By teaching our children Nepali language, traditions, songs, and values, we are helping them stay connected to their roots while growing confidently in a multicultural society. It’s about building identity, pride, and a strong sense of belonging.

Let’s continue to support each other, strengthen our community spirit, and create a vibrant environment for our kids to learn and enjoy. Looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces again this Sunday!

Please note that Nepalese Kids Classes will not run this Sunday (15 March 2026).

Instead, we encourage everyone to join and enjoy the Holi Colour Festival organised by NAT at UniSQ Toowoomba. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our culture, connect with the community, and enjoy the festive spirit together.

Let’s continue to preserve our culture and strengthen our community bonds.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community who joined us and made the Saraswati Puja celebration so meaningful and joyful. Your participation truly brought the spirit of learning, togetherness, and culture to life.

Special thanks to Quick and Easy Groceries for their generous donation and support. Because of you, we were able to provide:
• Juice and biscuits for the kids 🧃🍪
• Books and pencils to celebrate Saraswati Puja and the love of learning 📚✏️
