Tenterfield Eisteddfod

💐 A VERY BIG THANK YOU! 💐

Now that the 2026 Tenterfield Eisteddfod has come to a close, we would like to take a moment to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s event possible. ❤️

An Eisteddfod simply cannot happen without the wonderful support of so many people behind the scenes.

🌟 Thank you to our committee members: Kerri Swain, Robyn Coker (ChrisandRobyn Coker), Judith Birch-Watts, Bronwyn Petrie and Glenda Aquilini for the many hours of planning, organising and preparation that go into bringing the Eisteddfod together each year.

🌟 Thank you to the following volunteers who gave their time to assist inside, help on the doors, sell raffle tickets and be there for any other tasks that needed to be done. Sincere apologies if we have left anyone out. Drop a message to us so we can rectify that:

Christine Denis , Dot Sonter, Sue Jurd, Rosemary Dunn, Kim Rhodes, Jane I'ons, Laura Aquilini, Amelia Aquilini and Scout Southern, Sharyn Down, Christine Wells, Emily Ridley, Jess Kennedy, Jared Lidgerwood (Erin Lidgerwood), Yvette Kennedy, Linda Ringholt, Joyce Grant, Thea Ellis, Karen Tapscott, Cory Willis, Maz Mendoza and Tom Drewell.

🌟 Thank you Richard Hicks for all things sound and lighting.

🌟 Thank you to Amanda Blair and Staff at the Courtyard Cafe for the great food and extra hours of service you put in to accommodate everyone.

🌟 Thank you to the teachers, parents, families and accompanists who put in countless hours supporting and encouraging our performers.

🌟 Thank you to our wonderful adjudicators for travelling to Tenterfield and sharing their knowledge, encouragement and expertise with our competitors:

Debbie Landel, Barry Walmsley and Melissa Webster.

🌟 And, of course, a huge thank you to every one of our competitors! Whether you danced, sang, played an instrument, recited, acted or performed in a group, you are the reason our Eisteddfod exists. 🎶💃🎭🎹

🌟 Finally, thank you to everyone who came along and sat in our audience. Your applause and encouragement mean so much to our performers.

It truly takes a community to make an Eisteddfod happen, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making the 2026 Tenterfield Eisteddfod such a wonderful four days.

👏 THANK YOU, TENTERFIELD! 👏

We hope to see you all again in 2027! 💐🎶🎭💃

A big thankyou to Lynne Compton, Emmys music teacher/accompanist, Barry Walmsley for his adjudication and fantastic critique. It’s always appreciated to hear your feedback.
