We had a quiet return to Playgroup for term 4 after the School holidays this week, as the wet weather kept lots of families at home. Sarah White from Centacare came for a visit and provided a beautiful morning tea. Sarah made us mini banana muffins star picklets and lots of colourful fruit. We set up our wooden train set on the enclosed veranda, and we did lots of colouring in commemorating Bringing Them Home day.

We had a great turnout this week for Playgroup. Lots of families making the most of our last session for term 3 before the School holidays start. We made ice-cream cones and decorated them with lots of interesting toppings. We had a visit from Reach out Toy Library with a few more Families signing up to borrow lots of fantastic toys. Children enjoyed playing in the sandpit which is always a big hit and driving in the cars, we had a few traffic jams and an eager child with a siren toy pulling over cars luckily no one received a speeding fine. On behalf of TSDC we hope you enjoy the School holidays. We will be resuming Playgroup on Tuesday the 13th of October.

We had a great week at Playgroup this week. We welcomed Spring by painting bee's and planting our own flowers and placing the bee's beside them in the garden. We had a very kind donation of pre loved clothes, for our Playgroup parents to go through and lots of clothes went home with families. We also had a visit from Sarah White and Ash Pearce from Centacare.They very kindly provided a very nice morning tea and Sarah handed out recipe cards to the Playgroup parents. We only have one week left of Playgroup before the September/ October School holidays. Playgroup will resume on Tuesday the 13th of October at 10.00am.

We had a lovely day at Playgroup today. Spring has sprung and lots of parents ventured out into the beautiful sunshine, the Children made the most of it riding the bikes and jumping on the trampoline, and building sand castles. We have three crawling babies at the moment so there was a few traffic jams. We had some yummy piklets for morning tea using Ruby's recipe, and some toasted sandwiches. Today we celebrated R U OK Day with some colouring in sheets and we recognised National Child Protection Week form the 6th to the 12th of September.

We had a great day at Playgroup this week, lots of families came out to enjoy the beautiful start to spring. We did some Fathers Day artwork for the Children to Celebrate the day together. We enjoyed some fruit for morning tea and some yummy muffin pizza's, then the Children made the most of the sunshine riding bikes and building sand castles in the sandpit. I would like to on behalf of TSDC wish all of the dads or pops a Happy Fathers Day.

We had a great time at Playgroup this week, we went on a group trip to the Tenterfield Public Library to celebrate Book Week. We all dressed up as our favourite book characters and the wonderful staff at the Library read us stories and we sang songs and did lots of exciting craft activities.Then we returned to Playgroup for some fruit muffins and Ruby whipped up some chicken, cheese and lettuce wraps for our lunch. Then we played in the sandpit for a bit. On Behalf of TSDC Playgroup. I would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Tenterfield Public Library for having us.

We had a great day at Playgroup last week we all enjoyed some sunshine so the children made the most of it riding bikes and driving in the cars the trampoline also got a workout. We had a visit from Sarah White from Centacare who supplied a beautiful morning tea of banana muffins, friut and dinosaur sandwiches. Sarah also brought some goodie bags for the Playgroup parents. We also had a visit from Outreach toy library with lots of exciting toys being borrowed.

We had a fun day at playgroup today we made winter tree's and everyone enjoyed a little bit of sunshine so the children enjoyed playing on bikes and cars and on trampoline and it looks like the dinosaurs were making a break for freedom!
