💛 Celebrating Grandparents Day 💛

Today, we celebrate the incredible grandparents, grand-friends, kin, and special older people who make a positive difference in the lives of children and families. 🌟

Grandparents Day recognises the diverse and important role that grandparents and older carers play across all cultures, communities, and generations. Their love, wisdom, guidance, and support help shape stronger, more connected families.

Whether they are sharing stories, offering a helping hand, or creating lifelong memories, we thank them for the invaluable contribution they make every day. 💐

👵👴 To all grandparents and special older people in our community: thank you for your care, kindness, and the lasting impact you have on children's lives.

💛💜 Inters*x Awareness Day 💛💜

Today, on Inters*x Awareness Day, we recognise and celebrate inters*x people and raise awareness of the diversity of human bodies.

Inters*x people are born with natural variations in s*x characteristics that do not fit typical definitions of male or female. This day is an opportunity to promote understanding, challenge stigma, and advocate for the rights, dignity, and inclusion of inters*x people in our communities.

By learning more, listening to lived experiences, and fostering acceptance, we can help create a world where everyone is respected for who they are.

🌟 Let's celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and stand up for the rights of inters*x people today and every day.

🌟 National Children’s Week 2026 🌟 📅 24 October – 1 November

Join us in celebrating children’s rights, voices, and wellbeing during National Children’s Week.

This year’s theme is: 💬 “Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.”

Children thrive when they feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are. National Children’s Week is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the diversity of children, their identities, cultures, beliefs, and the important role they play in our communities.

Together, let's create inclusive spaces where every child feels a sense of belonging and can proudly express who they are. ❤️
