This group took over from the first group. Thanks to all the workers but also the public who support us buying sausages and drinks. 👏👏 one lovely little girl paid us a visit twice to put donations in our tin! Thanks to her Dad too for supporting us and showing his daughter how she could help! Dad is from Leeds so welcome! 🤗😀😀

Think of a woman you know doing great work in STEM, the one who lights up talking about her research, her code, her designs or her data.

Now picture her with $1,000 behind her work and her name in the running for District and International recognition.

That’s what the 2027 Zonta Women in STEM Award can open up. A single application to the Zonta Club of Rockhampton puts her on the path to:

Rockhampton Club Award: $1,000 AUD
District Award: $2,000 AUD
International Award: $5,000 USD

Local applications close Tuesday 15 December 2026. Eligibility and the application form are here: https://zonta.org/Web/Web/Programs/Education/Zonta_Women_in_STEM_Award.aspx?hkey=93b52ab5-ef2f-401b-8774-b6143ad02da1

Tag her in the comments. Sometimes the push to apply has to come from someone else.
