Just letting everyone know that we are still closed.

We did share a post yesterday asking for help for a young lady and her son, I've since taken the post down as someone was commenting on other people's comments asking for help and we don't know who that person is. So I just removed the post.

Please know we will be back soon, just got lots going on still atm. We might still share post's here and there, but that doesn't mean Sistaaa Support is back open properly, so please be understanding if we don't reply to messages atm.

Hey beautiful community,

( important update - and call for help )

Mum and I have been taking a break from sistaaa support page and messages for a couple months. We still have been doing our best to be of support to our community in the back ground.

As we all know - this rain has caused a lot of flooding on the coast. With weather like this it’s so easy to forget out privilege of having a home… A lot of homeless people lose everything when it rains.
It is a horrendous cycle.
Which affects people’s health dramatically as well - which is another thing we as a community should be aware of.

Reminder there is families who are currently homeless, teenagers/kids , people with disabilities and the elderly.
Homelessness will never discriminate.

With all this being said- we are open to receive donations for our homeless community.

•New towels
•New linen/blankets
•New pillows
•Tents
•Sleeping bags
•Camping essentials
•Any dry food as well

Please send a message if you’d like to help look out for our beautiful peoples that are caught up in this weather.

With a lot of thought and consideration we have decided to close Sistaaa Support down for awhile (no idea how long for). There are a few reasons for this, we both have a lot going on in our personal life (grief and trauma). Also we have copped abuse and negativity through messages, we are just two people trying our best to give back to our community. We have been working closely with our friends on the streets which has been good but unfortunately I feel like we have been taken advantage of a little bit, which has affected us. Also all this has taken its toll on Jess's work life. So I've decided that we both need to focus on ourselves, more self care. We both still have big ideas and things we want to do with Sistaaa Support that we will put on hold for now. Sorry if you have messaged us and we haven't got back to you, our inbox is so full, we haven't been able to keep up with it lately with so much stuff going on in our own lives. I'm sure we will be back bigger and better, but time to do us. Thank you for understanding. I will share later some places you can reach out for help and support.
