Exciting June Demo - Cricut Machine - not just for cake decorators but craft people alike! (Scrapbooking, card making, kids projects!)

The talented Melanie (Cricut Ambassador) will Demo

* Custom Cake Toppers: Design and cut multi-layered, personalized names, ages, and themed shapes out of thick cardstock or glitter board to give your cake that instant "wow" factor.

* Flawless Stenciling: Cut custom messages or delicate patterns out of food-safe acetate to easily dust icing sugar, cocoa, or edible glitter onto buttercream and fondant.

* Personalized vinyl stickers for cake boxes, create custom tags, and design professional signage.

If you have a cricut machine and need advice or tips come along or if you are looking at purchasing one Melanie will get you over the line & give you the inspiration needed!

The festive season has concluded, and it's the perfect time to prepare for the upcoming QCDA Cake Competition in 2026. Gather your coffee, paper, pen, and a copy of the competition schedule. Carefully review the schedule and ensure you understand the rules for each category. Begin planning which category you wish to enter; the schedule offers a wide range of options, including wedding cakes, novelty cakes, sugarcraft, and more. Whether you are a novice or an expert, there is a category suited to your skills, allowing you to create an exceptional cake design. Membership is not required to participate in the QCDA Cake Decorating and Sugar Art Show; entries are open to all, and we eagerly anticipate your unique designs. The QCDA Cake Decorating and Sugar Art Show will take place on July 3rd-4th, 2026, at Queen Alexandra Home, 347 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo, QLD. www.qcda.com.au
