565.

Not followers.
Not clicks.
Not impressions.

565 young people through our programs and found a place where they could feel safe, heard and hopeful.

At Rise & Thrive Co., we believe the best time to change a life is before the crisis.

An independent evaluation of our trauma-informed early intervention programs found positive participant-reported outcomes in emotional wellbeing, mental health, confidence, communication, emotional regulation and social connection.

These are not just statistics.

They are conversations that happened.
Young people who found their voice.
Families who found hope.
Communities that became stronger.

Every young person deserves the opportunity to grow up feeling safe, valued and connected.

If you are a local business owner, community leader or someone who believes in investing in the next generation, we invite you to be part of the solution.

Because stronger young people build stronger communities.

Great afternoon at the 2026 Sunshine Beach State High School Expo.

At Rise & Thrive Co., we invest our time in showing up for young people, supporting wellbeing, connection, and future opportunities — and we are incredibly grateful for the schools we partner with. Sunshine Beach State High is one of those schools, and it’s inspiring to see the level of commitment they have toward creating meaningful pathway opportunities for the young people who attend SBSHS.

A special moment captured with Justin Wilkie Deputy Principal at SBSHS, Shannon Hill from Student Wellbeing & Engagement, Councillor Karen Finzel from Noosa Council, and Janelle from Rise & Thrive Co.

Collaboration like this is how we continue building stronger futures for young people.

“I can finally talk about it.”

This feedback came from one of our Year 8 students after attending our program.

At Rise & Thrive Co., we are changing the way mental health is being addressed for young people through group therapy programs that create connection, trust, and real conversation.

Our programs are delivered by counsellors and psychologists, alongside the support of wellbeing teams within schools, helping young people feel safe, supported, and understood in environments that feel less clinical and more human.

Because sometimes the biggest breakthrough is simply a young person feeling comfortable enough to speak.

Another Respectful Relationships session today — this time with senior students at NDSHS.

Sometimes these conversations land in ways that genuinely surprise you.

What can start off as a unsure room can shift into something really powerful. Today was one of those moments.

Grateful to be in spaces where these conversations are happening.

Because they matter.

What a day.
What a community.

Our inaugural charity golf day was something truly special.

From the first tee-off to the final putt, the course was filled with laughter, generosity and an incredible sense of community. What started as an idea became a powerful reminder of what happens when people come together with purpose.

To everyone who played, supported, volunteered, organised or sponsored this event — thank you.

You made this day what it was.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible organisers and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this event to life. Your dedication and passion are what make moments like this possible.

To our amazing sponsors, thank you for backing this event and believing in the importance of supporting young people and strengthening our community.

To the team at the golf course, thank you for hosting such a fantastic day and helping create the perfect setting.

To the incredibly talented Eleni, whose beautiful artwork captured the spirit of the day — thank you for sharing your creativity with us.

And to the young people who joined us on the day — you are the reason we do this.

Your voices matter.
Your futures matter.
And we will keep showing up to ensure they are heard, respected and supported.

Some conversations remind us exactly why this work matters.

Today Janelle Parsons had the privilege of meeting with Catherine, Principal of Noosa District State High School, and Kate, Student Wellbeing and Engagement Officer.

When school leaders recognise the importance of supporting young people beyond academics, real change becomes possible. Catherine and Kate’s passion for their students and their commitment to creating a supportive environment for young people was incredibly inspiring.

Rise & Thrive Co’s work focuses on delivering trauma-informed mental health programs to young people, adolescents, and school communities, supporting students who may be navigating social anxiety, trauma, family challenges, identity struggles, and the pressures of growing up in today’s world.

But the work doesn’t stop with students.

The programs support educators, families, and the wider community, helping to strengthen the systems around young people so they feel seen, heard, and supported.

What makes this work powerful is the combination of lived experience and higher education, allowing genuine connection with students while delivering evidence-informed support.

The goal is never just to deliver a program.

It’s about creating conversations, awareness, and tools that continue long after the sessions finish, leaving a lasting legacy within communities.

Because when young people begin to understand themselves, their emotions, and their experiences, the impact doesn’t stop with them.

It ripples outward into families, schools, and communities.
Helping build a more connected tomorrow.

Real change in communities starts with conversations.

Over the past three weeks, students from Sunshine Beach State High School (Years 10–12) sat down with members of the Noosa Seniors Community Group as part of the Generations Connect program delivered by Rise & Thrive Co.

Different generations.
Different life experiences.
Different perspectives.

But what unfolded was something far more powerful than expected.

Across three sessions, participants explored three pillars:

Connection.
Understanding.
Breaking down barriers and building something new.

Through conversations, shared stories, and team challenges, assumptions were challenged and perspectives shifted.

One of the most powerful moments came in the final session where each participant shared something they learned, something they will carry with them, and one action they will take into their community.

Because when we take the time to listen, something powerful happens.

When we listen, we learn.
When we learn, we grow.
And when we grow, we thrive as a community.

Today was a meaningful reminder of what real community support looks like.

Janelle and Amanda had the pleasure of accepting a generous $5,000 donation from Maroochy RSL to support our high school programs across the Sunshine Coast.

This contribution will directly strengthen the delivery of early intervention initiatives focused on youth mental health, resilience, and breaking cycles before they become lifelong patterns.

When local organisations choose to invest in prevention, they are investing in safer schools, stronger families, and healthier futures.

A massive thank you to Maroochy RSL for standing behind young people in our region and recognising the importance of proactive support.

Community matters. And partnerships like this create lasting impact.

Big things start with strong partnerships 🤝

We’ve begun planning alongside Noosa & District Landcare on a collaborative project set for delivery in 2027.

This is about thinking long-term.
About community.
About doing things properly.

When organisations align in values and vision, the possibilities expand.

We’re excited about what’s taking shape — and we’ll share more as it develops.
