☀️ Harmony Boulevard parkrun – Event 161 ☀️
📅 5th September 2026

Well, someone has turned the thermostat up! 🔥☀️ Spring is definitely showing off and it’s certainly warming up at Harmony Boulevard! 😎🌸

This morning 52 awesome people ran, jogged and walked their way around the course, including 17 first timers joining us for the first time! 👋🎉

And a big 5 PB high-five 🙌🏅 to those who smashed out a new Personal Best!

We also had representatives from 6 different clubs joining us today. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Today’s event was only made possible by volunteers — yep, you read that right! 😱😂

Since Harmony Boulevard parkrun began on 5th August 2023:

🏃 3,432 participants have taken part
🔢 11,214 parkruns completed
🌏 56,070 km covered — that’s a LOT of kilometres!

🌳 Event number 160 - 29th August 2026 🌞

This was the last weekend of winter but felt like summer 😎 was a lot closer. This week 6️⃣3️⃣ people 🏃‍♀️ ran, jogged and walked 🚶🏼 the park 🌲🏃🏼‍♂️ and the dogs 🐕 of all shapes also attended in force 🐾. The beautiful conditions brought out 1️⃣8️⃣ first timers to Harmony, 3️⃣ for their very first parkrun 🎉 (welcome all and hope to see you again soon) as well as a smashing 1️⃣2️⃣ recording new Personal Bests, great running champions 🏆. Representatives of 1️⃣2️⃣ different clubs took part.

Big Congrats 🥳 for our Milestone achievers today:
Alexandra - ️❤1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣💖 vollie milestone for last week, thanks for helping make Harmony parkrun the awesome event we have 🙏.
Russell - 💚3️⃣5️⃣0️⃣🖤 run (unofficial) milestone, it may be unofficial but that is an amazing amount of running 🎉.

Today we want to take a moment to recognise someone who has been an incredibly important part of Harmony Boulevard parkrun from the very beginning.

Alexandra was there when Harmony Boulevard parkrun was just an idea, and for the past three years she has given so much of her time, energy, love and care to helping our parkrun grow into the wonderful community it is today.

From countless early Saturday mornings and behind-the-scenes jobs, to welcoming participants, supporting volunteers and helping create the warm atmosphere that makes Harmony Boulevard so special, Alexandra has been a huge part of it all. 🥰

Alexandra has made the difficult decision to step away from her Event/Run Director role as life and work become increasingly busy. While we are sad to see her step back, we completely understand and support her decision.

Thank you, Alexandra, for everything you have given to Harmony Boulevard parkrun. Your contribution has made a lasting difference, and we are incredibly grateful for you. ❤️👏🏼

What a TuTu-rrific start to the weekend 🤩 with 4️⃣5️⃣ people enjoying the Harmony vibe on a 💃🏻 TuTu parkrun 🌳 with a 🏃‍♀️ run, 🏃‍♂️ jog or 🚶 walk around the park, of whom 5️⃣ were first timers (welcome and hope to see you again soon 🤗) and 5️⃣ recorded new smashing 🥳 Personal Bests 🥇. Representatives of 🔟 different clubs took part.

It’s time to dig out those tutus and bring a little extra colour, sparkle and silliness to Harmony Boulevard parkrun!

We want to see them ALL!
