Launching our Aus Art Day campaign in 3...2...1...

Our Workshop Space is already a great rehearsal venue...but we want to boost it to create an upgraded, accessible, low-cost rehearsal AND professional performance space for you.

Phase One: Install Air-Conditioning!
Phase Two: A Lighting Rig!
Phase Three: Blackout Curtains, Flooring + Paint!

This year on AusArt Day, we are looking to raise $5000 towards this upgrade. Help us transform this space for artists and local communities and Make Art Happen!

Donate through our website next Thursday 22nd October for AusArt Day.

It's officially been one week since we closed our first-ever Young Creators Production, Macbeth. This program saw 19 Young Artists work over 6 months with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre Artistic Director Indiah Morris and the Backbone creative team. After two terms of rehearsal, several upskilling workshops, and a production week intensive, they delivered outstanding performances in a fresh, modernised take on Shakespeare’s most haunting work.

We couldn't be prouder of the young people who gave their all across the first weekend of Backbone Festival. Keep your eye on what's in store for the Young Creator Productions program in 2027!
