💛 NEW MSFIN DONATION DROP-OFF POINT IN CARRUM DOWNS!

We’re excited to announce that Kids Warehouse in Carrum Downs has generously come on board as an official donation drop-off point for Mums Supporting Families in Need (MSFIN)! 🙌

Thanks to their wonderful support, our local community now has another convenient place to donate essential items to help families doing it tough.

🛍️ We're collecting the things families need most including:

🧴 Toiletries and personal care products

🧦 New children's underwear and socks

🛁 Baby body wash

👶 Nappy bags

💧 Baby wipes

These everyday essentials might seem small, but for families experiencing financial hardship, they can make an enormous difference.

💜 Handmade with Love – A Very Special Thank You! 🧶

Sometimes, the most meaningful gifts are those made by hand, with love.

A heartfelt thank you to the Dingley Central Probus Craft Group, who have been busy knitting and crocheting beautiful items for the families supported by MSFIN.

Thanks to a generous grant from Bendigo Bank Carrum Downs, the group was able to purchase yarn and transform it into an amazing collection of handmade children's blankets, adorable soft baby toys and beautiful clothing.

Your efforts will make a difference in the lives of local families experiencing hardship.

Instead of opening a little door each day, you add a grocery item to a tub. By the end of November, you’ve built a full Christmas hamper for a local family doing it tough.

Here’s how:

✅ Sign up and download the MSFIN checklist
📦 Grab a 26L Flexi Tub from Bunnings or the MSFIN warehouse
🛒 Add one non-perishable item a day through November
📍 Drop it off at Frankston Football Club, Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 December
⚠️ All food must be sealed, shelf-stable and within date.

You can do it solo, or make it a family, office or classroom thing. Tinsel optional (but encouraged).

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at The Nappy Collective, who have generously donated nappies to Mums Supporting Families in Need (MSFIN), helping us support families doing it tough across our community.

For families experiencing financial hardship, something as simple as having enough nappies can make a real difference. These everyday essentials are expensive, and for parents already struggling with the rising cost of living, every bit of support helps.

That's why donations like these mean so much to us! 💕

Over the past year, MSFIN supported more than 11,000 people, providing essential items to families experiencing crisis and financial hardship.

Thanks to organisations like The Nappy Collective, we can continue getting much-needed supplies into the hands of families who need them most.

💗 Local legends making a real difference! 💗

A huge thank you to Lisa and Helen, the incredible ladies behind , who are celebrating their 8th year of bringing the community together to give back and have a great time while doing so!

This year, an amazing $7,316 was raised for MSFIN and Dress for Success — helping both charities continue their important work supporting people in our community.

We love that these local legends don’t just talk about giving back — they make it happen! Year after year, they bring people together, spread the word and turn their community spirit into real action.

For MSFIN, this support helps us provide essential items to families doing it tough. With more than 11,000 people supported in the past year, every bit of community generosity makes a difference. 💕

Our Reverse Advent Calendar is the Christmas countdown with a twist. Day 1? The tub. Day 7? Vegemite (obviously). Day 30? A Christmas treat. 🍭

Fill a tub through November and you’ll end up with a hamper for a local family.
Some ways to get the crew involved:

🏢 Workplaces: set up a tub next to the office Christmas tree
🏫 Schools: run a class vs class hamper challenge
⛪ Churches and clubs: rally the whole community

While many of us are writing Christmas lists, some local parents are working out how to stretch the grocery budget just a little further. 💜

This year, MSFIN is aiming to pack over 2,200 Christmas food hampers for families doing it tough in our community.

Each hamper is a tub filled with festive food and everyday essentials. It’s practical help when it’s needed most, and a reminder that someone nearby cares.

Your hamper goes through our network of community and welfare partners straight to a family who needs it, just in time for Christmas Day.

It’s one tub, one item a day, and a lot less worry for a family this December.
