While we encourage challenging yourself to complete workouts, not all exercises are suitable for everyone. These workouts, fitness and nutritional information are provided as a guide only and are not subject to your individual health or activity needs. Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association is a public not for profit company limited by guarantee. The company was established in 1948 and continues to serve the Queensland community. Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Clubs facilitate and encourage participation in sporting, recreation, cultural and welfare programs with an aim to improving the lives of individual members and the development of local communities throughout the state. PCYCs are a great place to come and socialise, play sports, or learn something new. We run affordable activities for all ages, ranging from fitness, martial arts and sports to dance classes, music, and bike safety education. We also organise various seasonal events, such as dance parties, festivals and sporting competitions. Our facilities include indoor and outdoor sports areas, indoor spaces which are used for various activities, before and after school care, Youth Spaces - dedicated recreational areas for young people with gaming equipment, movies, pool tables, even DJ equipment in some cases! There are 53 PCYC branches throughout Queensland. Each branch has a different range of programs and activities aimed to cater to the specific needs of the local community. There's always something happening, and it's the perfect place to go and meet people, get active and have fun. In addition to the day-to-day activities at our Clubs, we run a range of exciting programs and courses for young people, aimed at personal development, adventure development, communication and leadership skills. These programs are designed to be fun, challenging, confidence-building and to broaden the horizons of participants.
