On the road for Get Ready Week!

Recently IRRO Sarah visited the Bundaberg region and connected with Council’s new Disaster Management Team, as well as the dedicated Rural Fire Service and SES volunteers who work tirelessly to help keep local communities safe and prepared.

While in Childers, she also caught up with Joanne Hall, CANEGROWERS Manager, for a valuable discussion about the current issues and policy priorities affecting the cane industry.

A big thank you to everyone who shared their time, knowledge and local insights with us!
Here is Sarah with RFCS Rural Financial Counsellor Kath Clarke and SES’s Samantha and Samual.

⛽ It is quarterly BAS time. Calculating the fuel tax credit can be tricky when there are different rates throughout the quarter. Over recent months, the fuel tax credit rates have changed multiple times. It is important to use the correct rate when calculating your fuel tax credit claim.

Did you know that you can use the ATO’s fuel tax credit calculator to make sure you claim the right amount?

Using the ATO’s fuel tax credit calculator takes out any guess work so you can be more certain you are claiming the correct amount.
