What a camp!

It started cool and foggy but got hot quick… On Saturday, the Venturers spent the day discussing risk and risk assessments, and then used their knowledge of simple machines to move heavy stuff.

Pulling a trailer out of a ditch, moving a heavy box, and finally building contraptions that tried to fight the mechanical advantage a bucket of water has when it is a long way from you.

A big weekend for Yeppoon Scouts Venturer, Noah. Noah is a member of the Branch Youth Council - Scouts Queensland and this weekend he attended the annual conference at BP Park in Samford.

On Sunday morning of the conference, Noah was presented with a certificate and a thank you badge from the Chief Commissioner Scouts QLD.

We look forward to seeing what the BYC achieve over the next 12 months.

Noah is also Chair of the Capricorn Scouts, District Youth Council.
