Sunday wasn't just about raising awareness.
It's about showing up.
It's about standing side by side.

We are incredibly grateful to Brookiee Hurt for inviting Walk 'n' Talk to be part of such an important day. Not only because of the awareness being created for Colon cancer, but because of what Brooke represents turning loss into action and keeping her husband Hurty's memory alive through purpose.

Cancer affects more than the person diagnosed. It impacts families, friends, loved ones, and entire communities.
Life can be bloody tough. Cancer is tough. Grief is tough.

That's why community matters.
Because while we can't always change what someone is going through, we can make sure they don't face it alone.

We are proud to stand alongside Brooke as she continues to stand up for cancer awareness, for every person and family walking this journey.

Thank you to everyone involved for honouring Hurty's memory, raising vital funds, creating awareness, and proving the power of community.

Sometimes the greatest thing we can do isn't fix the problem. It's simply show up and stand beside someone while they face it.

Cancer takes enough. Let's make sure it never takes community too. 🎗️

"I'm good."

The two most dangerous words a person can say when they're not.

During Men's Mental Health Week, we spent time with the crew at JBS Rockhampton talking about something many people have been taught not to talk about.

The pressure.
The stress.
The stuff that follows you home after knock-off.
Because mental health isn't just about the hard days.

It's about knowing you've got people around you before those hard days arrive.

A huge thank you to the team at JBS Rockhampton for getting behind the message and creating space for conversations that matter. We're grateful for the opportunity to connect with the crew and look forward to building on this partnership in the future.

A conversation won't solve everything, but it could change everything for someone.

Want Walk 'n' Talk in your workplace, club, or community? Reach out.

Don't wait for someone to struggle before you start the conversation. 👊

Rocky, you're up!

The golf clubs are away. The walking shoes are back on and this Saturday we walk from Poppies Cafe at 7:00 am.

There is no cost. No sign up. No pressure to talk.

Walk. Coffee. Conversation if you want it. Quiet if you do not.

Bring a mate or come solo. Either way, you are welcome and we'd love to see you.
