Rockhampton Community

I would like to share that Hope in a Suitcase Rockhampton will be closing in the next week, as I am no longer able to continue running the service or take any donations.

Unfortunately, there has been minimal uptake from local foster care agencies, which has made it too difficult to keep the branch operating. 🧳

I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported this project 🙏
Your donations, encouragement and generosity have meant so much and have made a real difference to well over 100 children entering care locally.

Thank you for standing behind HIASC Rockhampton and for the kindness you have shown throughout this journey. 💙🧡

I would also like to express my absolute gratitude for each and every one of you who have donated throughout the year!

Without you all, it would not be possible to offer this amazing service to our super special children living in out-of-home care in CQ. 🧳 💙

Over the last 18 months I’ve been able to hand out 111 suitcases packed full of love and hope!

These organisations work tirelessly to provide essentials, hampers, and dignity to vulnerable people in their regions, and we are so honoured to partner with them.

Thank you so much Hope in a suitcase-Australia and Alliance Automation who provided a lot of donations so I was able to fulfill this large order!

41 beautiful young adults, children and babies will receive these and know they are definitely not forgotten 🥰🙏🥰

WOW! 🤩 we have raised $3360 for Hope in a suitcase-Australia!!

With the help of many people’s generosity and the hard work accomplished by MadMax - Dr Madhav, running and completing a half marathon🏃

Hope in a Suitcase are now able to provide MORE hope and love to many precious children entering into out of home care. 🧳 💙🧡
