Peninsula and District Cake Decorators Association QCDA We are the Peninsula and District Branch of the Queensland Cake Decorators Association (QCDA).

We are a non-profit organisation and would love to welcome new members who are interested in Cake Decorating. We meet on the fourth Saturday of every month (unless stated otherwise) at the Redcliffe Show Grounds. Our meetings also feature a practical demonstration by guest skilled cake decorators and are a great way to learn new skills

Peninula had it's branch meeting today ,everyone enjoyed afternoon tea and a demonstration by Kaye on Donkey Orchid,it's so easy to do ,when shown.Just a reminder that the may meeting will be on the 16th of May and a demonstration on royal icing will follow our meeting, all is welcome. From all at peninsula branch we wish all mothers a happy mothers day ,enjoy your special day

At the request of one of our members, Brenden was asked to demonstrate this ‘cat’ at today’s meeting.
Brenden did two options. One standing and a flat one suitable for the top or sides of a cake.
We thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration. Thank you Brenden, you always make it fun.

Congratulations to Brenden and Leone who had success at the Ekka cake decorating competition. Well done. Also congratulations to Janet who had success in the Craft section. Peninsula branch will be meeting on the 3rd Saturday this month (16th) due to availability of Webb Hall, Redcliffe Showgrounds. Meeting commences at 1pm. All welcome.
