We live in a world now where it feels like we’re expected to be available 24/7… 😳�reply instantly… show up instantly… be “on” all the time. ⏰
And honestly… it’s exhausting. 😫
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but just because we have phones doesn’t mean we owe everyone immediate access to us. 🙌
Some of us are:�running businesses�supporting others�holding space�working�healing�studying�navigating family life�moving through menopause, health challenges, or mental load
And in those seasons… our time and energy become even more precious.
Trying to respond to everyone and keep up with everything?�It becomes overwhelming… and eventually, it leads to burnout.
What happened to the days we grew up in?
Waking up in your own space, with just your family or your pets.. 🐶 ❤️�Not knowing what the whole world was doing the second you opened your eyes�Saying good morning face-to-face�Cooking together�Sitting at the table and actually talking�Asking “how was your day” and truly listening�Getting to know people slowly, in real life
There was space.🩵�There was presence.🩵�There was connection.🩵
Now everything feels rushed… constant… online… expected.
But we don’t have to live like that.
Not everything is urgent. 🙌�Not every message needs an instant reply.
I’m personally okay hearing back from people days later… unless it’s truly important. That’s respect.
We need to normalise:😃�✨ slower responses�✨ real-life connection�✨ healthy boundaries�✨ not being constantly available
Because being “always on” isn’t sustainable… and it’s not healthy.
Protect your time. Protect your energy.�Come back to what actually matters 🩵🪽

𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝘅 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 week 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗺𝗼 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹. ☕

Great conversations, plenty of laughs, and some powerful insights from Shane O'Donnell from Keep Changing Lanes who delivered a thought-provoking presentation about rewiring our belief systems to avoid burnout in business. Such an important reminder for all of us who juggle busy businesses and full lives.

What I love most about Bx is that it’s not just about growing our businesses - it’s about building genuine connections, supporting each other, and learning from the experiences around the table.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. It’s always such a positive way to start the day.

As we step into 2026, I’m excited to share that business networking is back in Redcliffe – and we’re kicking off the year with our first BX Redcliffe breakfast next week on Wednesday 21 January in our new venue The Komo , Redcliffe.

If you’re a local business owner, entrepreneur, or thinking about starting something new, this is a great opportunity to meet a friendly group of local professionals, build genuine connections, collaborate, and support each other’s growth.

Amazing NO LIMITS Radio Show this week with Julie & Dr Suzi (Big Jon away❤️‍🩹)
Lovely chatting to the amazing Taylor from LST Support Services about their upcoming Colour Run happening on Saturday 8th November, Decker Park Brighton, 10am to 2pm for all abilities to run walk roll, have some fun. ALL INCLUSIVE other support services welcome to have a stall with their services there, as well as seeking sponsors, donations for the raffles to help fund some rides and show bags for all participants for free. Entry is free & will be performing live music at this event, along with some staff helping out. This should be a super fun day guys, check out the flyer for more info in our pics or comments here.

We also interviewed the amazing Dave Campbell aka Uncle Dave from Team Musicare showcasing his amazing new song ‘Norlean’ inspired by 70’s & 80’s cool vibes.. Dave, 49 is legally blind due to diabetes and says that his sense of hearing is so heightened that he appreciates life more as he can really hear, feel and sense a lot more what is important in life. Dave loves writing music and collaborating with the musicians at Team Musicare who rock the instruments so well. Dave does the vocals on all his tracks, and this was his fourth visit on our show. Love it! Tune in to our next NO LIMITS SHOW on Wednesday, 10th September 6-7pm..
