Aveley parkrun

A lovely morning for parkrun, and it looks like plenty of people took advantage of the conditions. It was great to see such a great turnout, and the community spirit was evident in how many people were encouraging and congratulating others! Congrats to all those who racked up a PB today, and well done to those who hit a milestone (with special shoutouts to or RDs Deon and Chloe who hit 250 runs and 100 vollies respectively!)

Thanks to everyone who turned up, and as always the biggest thanks goes to all the volunteers, without whom parkrun just doesn't happen.

The roster is full, the weather looks perfect, there's ducks and peacocks around.... everything is in readiness for parkrunday! All that's missing is the people!

Let us know if you have a milestone coming up, otherwise we'll see you at Aveley central park at 7:50 am tomorrow for the briefing.

🎉 Huge congrats to Afzan, Adam, Kirstie and Rachelle on their respective milestones today and a very warm welcome to the 5 fresh faces who did their first ever parkrun with us!

Our volunteers have stepped up and we're all systems go for parkrun tomorrow. It'll be the 22nd, so feel free to wear a tutu (if you need an excuse!) Whatever you're wearing, be at Aveley central Park at 7:50 tomorrow morning for the run brief!

It was a lovely day for parkrun on Saturday, and this weekend looks no different, with the added bonus of being the 22nd! Feel free to wear a tutu!

However, we're still in need of some volunteers! We need;

Time keeper.
Finish tokens
And we'd love a photographer!

Another gorgeous morning at parkrun! 🌳 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🏃🏻 Congrats to everyone who ran today, we had 14 PBs and lots of amazing milestones to celebrate (with delicious treats). 🥳
