Aveley parkrun

11/10/2026

* Advance notice of cancellation
Our event will be cancelled on 7/11/2026 as the Aveley Community Festival will be taking place and they will be setting up before and during the time of our event.
There are a number of events close by, maybe use the time to try another! And be sure to check out the festival as it's a great day out.

There has been items left behind this morning! If any of these belong to you, please message us. Also sadly our token 89 made a disappearing act this morning. If anyone know the person in position 89 (unknown) 🫣😳 could we please have the token back……
Early shout out to see if anyone will be available to help out as Volunteer next weekend. Message us if you can fill a position.

Have a great weekend all!

We need a few volunteers to make our event run smoothly and safely - finish tokens, marshall, pre-event set up/first timers briefing and a photographer. Finish tokens and marshall are core roles and need to be filled, otherwise we may have to cancel.
If you can help out, please let us know.

It's going to be great weather tomorrow for a walk or a run in the park with friends!
Don't forget to wear something pink if you can, to support Clare in bringing awareness about breast cancer. She'll have some cupcakes and raffle tickets for sale.
We have all our core volunteers. If you'd like to take some photos, please let us know.

We need YOU!! There are a couple of critical volunteer roles that need filling for us to go ahead tomorrow. If you feel like a gentle stroll around the course tomorrow please let us know and I can put you down for Tail walker. If you'd like to run AND get a volunteer credit please let us know and you can join me early to set up the course then do the First Timers Brief. Lastly, if anyone is keen to practice their photography skills please let us know and I'll add you to our team as the official Photographer. Thanks!! ☺️
