Fencing WA

16/10/2026

With nominations closing in just two weeks, we are shining a light once more on Life Membership — the most prestigious recognition Fencing WA can bestow.

Life Membership is for those rare individuals who have given more than a decade of exceptional service to our sport at state level — coaches, referees, administrators, volunteers and Board members who have shaped who we are as an organisation.

Ask yourself:
• Has this person served WA fencing for 12 or more years?
• Have they demonstrated leadership, innovation, and mentoring?
• Have they made a lasting impact on our community?

If someone comes to mind, don't let this moment pass. Nominations close 31 October 2026.

FencingWA hosted Uni-Sports National Fencing over the Public Holiday Long Weekend. Congratulations to all Medalists and competitors.
A big thank you to all volunteers across the weekend for van packing, bump in, weapon check, marshalling, bump out and unpacking the van. FWA cannot host these events without the support of the community.
Finally thank you to the AFF DT team and Referees who had 4 long days of competition.
