It was an honour to be part of both Panel 4 and Panel 5, contributing to critical national conversations around prevention education, technology safety, and shaping a culture of respect. Panel 5, One System for Safety Collaboration, Data and Shared Accountability, was a powerful discussion on the importance of connected systems, shared responsibility, and creating safer futures for children and families. Grateful to have shared some hard-hitting truths alongside incredible leaders committed to meaningful systemic change.

Shout out to for bringing this event together and including the lived experience experts.

A huge thank you to Remi Aesthetics for partnering with us and supporting the work we do.
In an incredibly generous gesture, they will be donating $5 from every treatment helping us continue making a difference in the lives of those who need support most.
Support businesses that choose to give back to their community. We are beyond grateful to have them beside us on this journey. 💛

Trigger Warning: Discussion of domestic violence and childhood trauma

I’m Danielle Bradtke, Founder of Foundations of Hope.

I recently sat down for a YouTube interview to share parts of my story growing up around domestic violence, the long-term impacts it had, and how those experiences shaped not only who I am, but the work I do today.

I believe lived experience has value. Not for sympathy, but for education, awareness, and improving the systems designed to support survivors.

Too often, women and children impacted by domestic violence move through systems that don’t fully understand trauma, recovery, or what support is truly needed. My hope is that by sharing openly, we can help create more informed conversations, better support pathways, and stronger outcomes for future generations.

I’m sharing this because stories have power and sometimes lived experience can teach what statistics alone cannot.

If my story helps educate, challenge perspectives, improve understanding, or make someone feel less alone, then sharing it is worth it.

Thank you to those willing to listen, learn, and advocate for better support for survivors.

To be invited as a speaker at the National Child & Family Safety Leadership Summit in Perth is something I don’t take lightly.

What started from pain, survival, and a determination to create change has now opened doors to conversations that truly matter.

As the CEO & Founder of Foundations of Hope, my mission has always been bigger than me it’s about creating awareness, breaking cycles, supporting survivors, and making sure families and children feel seen, heard, and safe.

I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has supported this journey, shared our message, believed in our vision, or stood beside us along the way.

This is more than a speaking event.
It’s proof that your story can become purpose.
Perth, I’m ready. 💛

Today, on National Domestic Violence Remembrance Day, I pause to remember.

I remember the lives lost.
The voices silenced.
The stories that never got the chance to be told.

But I also stand here as a survivor.

I know what it feels like to live in fear, to question your worth, to feel trapped in something you never chose. And I know the strength it takes to walk away, to rebuild, and to begin again.

Today is not just about remembering the pain it’s about honouring the courage.

Courage of those who spoke up.
Courage of those still finding their voice.
Courage of those who survived, and those we carry in our hearts.

I share my story because there is hope.
Healing is possible.
And no one deserves to live in fear.

To anyone still in it you are not alone.
To every survivor I see you, I stand with you, and your life matters.

Today we remember.
Today we honour.
And today, we continue to fight for a future free from violence.
