🎓✨ Congratulations, Kelly Hyde! ✨🎓
Today we celebrate Kelly Hyde, a proud and strong Wiradjuri woman, born in Wellington and raised on Bundjalung Country in Lismore, where she continues to live, work, and give back to her community.
Kelly has graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Professional Psychology — an incredible achievement made even more remarkable by balancing full-time work in community services, university studies, and family life.
As a recipient of the Dr Tracy Westerman Indigenous Psychology Scholarship Program since 2021, Kelly has embraced every opportunity to strengthen her journey toward becoming a registered psychologist. Through mentorship, support, and connection with other First Nations psychology students and professionals, she has continued to push forward in her commitment to creating change.
Kelly's vision extends far beyond her own success. She is dedicated to supporting First Nations young people, advocating for culturally safe mental health care, empowering youth from rural and remote communities, and helping address the challenges that impact future generations. As Kelly says, our youth are our future Elders, and they deserve support through a holistic approach.
We are incredibly proud of Kelly's determination, resilience, and passion for making a difference. Congratulations on this milestone achievement—we can't wait to see the impact you'll continue to make in communities across the nation.
👏🏽🎉 Well done, Kelly!
