πŸ¦‹ This week is National Volunteer Week (18–22 May) and we want to highlight the incredible people at the heart of Blue Dot Army - our volunteers.

Just like the butterfly that is our symbol representing change, endurance, hope and life, our volunteers wrap their wings around every guest who comes into our care.
They are the backbone of everything we do. Without them, we simply could not deliver on our vision of a world where no one faces cancer alone.

To every single one of our volunteers : thank you. Thank you for showing up, for giving your time, and for helping change the cancer experience for others. We are so deeply grateful. πŸ’™

A big shoutout to our wonderful volunteers who once again went above and beyond for Sharon, who has travelled all the way from Kununurra for treatment in Perth! ❀️

What was meant to be a short stay has extended and with only a few days' worth of clothing, one of our volunteers made sure she was well looked after with a fresh change of clothes delivered to her hotel.

On Friday, after a big day of appointments, our volunteers spent the afternoon taking Sharon out for some special shopping and by the sounds of it, they made it a truly memorable one! Sharon said it was the best afternoon she's had since arriving in Perth. 😊

A special mention also to the wonderful team at Metro Hotel Perth City who have gone out of their way to make Sharon feel safe, comfortable and right at home during her extended stay. 🏨

That's the magic of community! Thank you to everyone who has wrapped Sharon in such warmth, so far from home. πŸ’›
