Music and sport are often seen as competing passions, but moments like this prove they can exist beautifully together.

Through our partnership with the GIANTS, students from Girraween Band were given the incredible opportunity to perform at the stadium before the GIANTS game.

It was a powerful reminder that music has a place everywhere — including in sport. After all, how many athletes rely on music as part of their pre-game ritual?

We’re proud to help create opportunities where young musicians can be seen, heard and celebrated, and we look forward to continuing to grow this partnership. 🧡

The talent that crossed the stage today has left us speechless! Here’s a little highlight from Parramatta HS Big Band, who brought incredible energy to Day 1 of the Band Together Festival.

Sessions 1 & 2 are officially wrapped — now bring on Session 3! We’re excited to welcome Parramatta High School Concert Band, Bayanami Public School, Ngarla Public School, Victoria Avenue Public School and Burnside Public School to the stage.

We’re officially less than a week away from our 2026 Band Together Festival, and Mr. Davison has been busy spreading the word — fresh from promoting the festival on ABC!

Join us at Riverside Theatres on July 16, 17 and 18 for our daytime festival sessions, bringing together young musicians from across Greater Western Sydney.

Then, on July 18 at 6:30pm, join us for the Band Together Festival Gala Night Concert - an unforgettable evening celebrating community, creativity and music education across Greater Western Sydney, featuring a special performance from the Sydney Conservatorium Big Band.
