Parramatta Mission We stand alongside people in our community doing it tough.

Opening our doors to provide meals, support services, housing assistance, and hope for those experiencing homelessness, disadvantage, domestic & family violence, and social isolation. The Mission’s broader history can be traced back to the opening of the first Wesleyan Methodist Chapel on the current head office site in 1821. Parramatta Mission’s expansive community programs were born out of the e

arly Wesleyan’s ethos of outreach, community and inclusiveness. Today, Parramatta Mission is one of the largest providers of community mental health services in New South Wales, as well as one of the largest providers of community services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Western Sydney. The Mission’s programs are delivered from multiple sites across Greater Sydney, extending to the Central Coast, beyond the Blue Mountains, Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Liverpool.

That's a wrap on Homelessness Week.

Thank you to everyone who took an action this week. Whether you volunteered your time, partnered with us, coordinated an essential in-kind donation drive, or raised awareness - you made a difference.

While National Homelessness Week is just seven days, homelessness doesn't end when the week does. At Parramatta Mission, this work continues every day of the year.

We hope this week has challenged perceptions, sparked conversations and inspried action towards lasting change.

A special thank you to Parramatta Leagues Club for closing out the week with us, spending the day at Meals Plus lunch and lending a hand where it counted.

AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY. This open-plan space offers a scenic and remote location surrounded by local wildlife and exposed views. Featuring a low canopy and a direct connection to nature, it comes with zero privacy, no heating, no cooling, no running water, and no lockable doors.

This isn't a real rental listing, but it is a real place someone in our community will be forced to sleep tonight.

As cost-of-living and housing pressures increase across Western Sydney, spaces like this are becoming the only option for more individuals and families.

While you can’t rent this space, just $25 helps stop someone from making this their home.

With it, Parramatta Mission provides warm meals through Meals Plus, hot showers, emergency supplies, and the caseworker support needed to find safe, permanent housing.

The day was filled with clothes and blanket giveaways, sleeping bags, groceries and so much more. Thank you Endeavour, and thank you to everyone who continues to take an action, One Heart for the West.

National Homelessness Week is here.

This week, we are hosting events and sharing The Unliveable Listings campaign to highlight the reality of housing insecurity in Western Sydney.

Yesterday, we gathered at Centenary Square to officially launch National Homelessness Week. Through a range of activities, we're raising awareness of homelessness and helping connect people with the support and services they need.

This National Homelessness Week (3–9 August), we're coming together with One Heart for the West.

On any given night, more than 5,000 people are experiencing homelessness across Western Sydney.

One person can't solve homelessness but one action can make a difference.
