Our recent AGM brought in a few changes to our team structure, most notably it marked the end of an incredible chapter for Bruce Peel, who handed over the reins as President to Barry Kemp after more than 20 years of dedicated leadership 💙

As the founder of the Disabled Surfers Association’s Perth branch, Bruce’s vision, passion and tireless effort has helped build DSA Perth into what it is today. For more than two decades, he has volunteered his time year after year to bring countless smiles on dials to Perth. Bruce’s contribution is impossible to measure, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything he has given to our organisation and community.

Thank you, Bruce. Your legacy will continue to inspire us for many years to come 🏄‍♂️✨

Come along to our Annual General Meeting and meet the incredible team behind our Perth branch! 🌊

The formal AGM will run from approximately 10:30am–11:30am. Afterwards, we’ll be sticking around to enjoy some lunch, have a chat, and catch up with everyone in a relaxed setting ☺️

Our 20th Season delivering smiles on dials was a HUGE success! Despite cancelling our last event, the other 3 certainly made up for it 🤩

Thank you to our amazing volunteers who have donated your time, and brought your empowering energy to create an unforgettable experience for all 💫 It’s been so special to see so many familiar faces returning, getting there early, staying late, and going above and beyond for each event❣️❣️❣️

Thank you to the incredible guardians and carers of our surfers who trust us, support from the sidelines, and help create a safe, encouraging and fun environment both in and out of the water 🙌🏽

Lastly, to our amazing surfers, you are the heart of everything we do ❤️ Your courage, joy, and excitement in the water are what make every single moment worthwhile, and why we keep coming back season after season 🌊

Keep an eye out for our AGM coming up later this year for your opportunity to get more involved in what we do and how we do it! Everyone is welcome 🫶🏽
