We are very proud to share information regarding the Neighbourhood Accelerator Program (the NAP), a worldwide and wonderful initiative (available online and face-to-face) connecting neighbours locally which is being facilitated face-to-face by Ecoburbia's Shani Graham in June, here in Fremantle.
The NAP helps people turn their neighbourhoods into thriving communities. Each week, you’ll learn proven strategies that spark deeper connections between neighbours and build local resilience. Along the way, you’ll gain accountability, share wins and challenges, and watch your neighbourhood blossom into a genuine community.
***Message from Shani: "If you are inspired and want to start something close to where you live, come along to the Neighbourhood Accelerator Program - we are starting Tuesday 10 June from 6.30 - 8pm at Ecoburbia. Call me on 0417 941 991 if you are interested and/or have questions."

Hello, here are a couple of pics of our last Repair Cafe at Sullivan Hall in May. As you can see, the space is working well.
On average, we receive 25 to 40 household items during a Repair Cafe and we repair 65% of those items on the spot!
It's always exciting for the repairer to make a complete repair, but if this isn't possible, we give advice and people are welcome to come back with the right part, or have a go themselves at home. For items that can't be repaired, we share the grief and can advise disposal locations.
Feel free to come by this Sunday 1 June, 9.30-11.30am if you are in need of a household item repair, or just even come and check us out if you are interested/curious/passing by. There's an invitation to the Sunday 1 June Repair Cafe on our page below with more information.
