Today Heart Place we hold deep care for all those affected by the violence at Bondi.

Our thoughts are with the people who were directly impacted, their families, the Jewish community, those who witnessed the event, and the wider community who are absorbing shock and grief.

In moments like this, harm ripples far beyond what is immediately visible. Many are holding fear, sorrow, confusion, and a deep sense of loss. We acknowledge that pain and stand with all who are affected.

May we hold one another closer and respond with empathy, compassion, and care. May our collective care help heal what divides us, and strengthen our commitment to loving our neighbours, so that all people can live in peace, dignity, and mutual respect.

In the days ahead, as the impact continues to unfold, let us be present for one another. May this deeply shocking event draw us closer to care, shared belonging, and humanity — and further from division and othering.

May the light of our shared humanity shine more brightly in these dark days
