We were so lucky to have attended hub for their 48 Hours of Giving Event, and reminded of that warm fuzzy feeling that makes the Freo arts scene so special.

Between Jo’s inspiring opening words and the incredible performances (juggling, unicycles, and aerials!!) the whole night felt like being at home with family 🎪

And the best part? They hit their goal, raising a massive $48K in just 48 hours! 🎉 Circus WA are entering an exciting chapter in their new iconic Parry St home and we’re so proud to support them on this journey.

Good halloumi, even better company. Last week we gathered with our donors at Ode To Sirens to say thank you. We are so inspired by each of our donor’s stories and how they make real change happen across WA. Cheers to what a wonderful community we have 🥂🧀

(No, it was SERIOUSLY good halloumi. So good it deserved a photo)

We hear it all the time.
“Don’t you need a big bank balance to be involved with philanthropy?”

Actually, no. You don’t.

Philanthropy belongs to everyone. Whether you’re starting with $1,000 or $100,000, structured giving is about the heart behind the gift and the impact you want to see in your community. It’s time to debunk the million dollar myth.

A Named Fund gives you the benefits of a private foundation without the legal headaches, red tape, or high setup costs.

Focus on the 'why' 🎯

It isn't about the number of zeros in your bank account, it's about the change you want to see and making the change happen.

From one coast to another 🧡

Fremantle and Exmouth might be separated by a thousand kilometres of coastline, but in Western Australia, we’ve always looked out for each other.

Cyclone Narelle has left a heavy mark on the Gascoyne. Beyond the structural damage, the storm has devastated local wildlife and fragile ecosystems. The true scale of the impact is only just becoming clear, and the need for support is urgent.

There is a special kind of magic in our North West. To ensure it is preserved for the future, the Fremantle Foundation is raising funds for our WA Relief and Recovery Fund, with all proceeds going to the Balu Blue Foundation.

As the boots on the ground for wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, the Balu Blue team are working tirelessly to protect the very thing that makes Exmouth so special. They are the only wildlife rehabilitation organisation in Exmouth, and contributions directly fund their critical frontline response; from emergency veterinary care, diagnostic imaging and essential medications to the fuel required to keep life-saving equipment running, as well as a strategic investment in both habitat restoration and establishing a rehabilitation facility.

Walking into a job interview with your head held high is a feeling everyone deserves. We’re honoured to partner with Dress for Success to ensure that women across our community have the resources and support to do exactly that.

As General Manager Kelli Carnachan puts it: “It’s life-changing for them, but also for the direct members of their family and it also has flow-on effects to the community.”

For us, being part of this mission means being part of a lasting, positive ripple effect. We’re proud to support the journey of these incredible women as they step into their next chapter. 🤍

Our hearts are with the team and volunteers at Kanyana Wildlife as we remember the incredible June Butcher.

June wasn’t just a pioneer for conservation in WA, she was a force of nature. What started in her own backyard in 1986 has grown into a sanctuary that has given the gift of a second chance to tens of thousands of native wildlife.

At the Fremantle Foundation, we’ve been proud to support Kanyana’s mission, but more than that, we’ve been inspired by June’s legacy. She proved that one person can start the ripple that creates huge waves of impact.

Rest peacefully, June. 🌿✨

Puppy pics!!!!

Although verrrry cute, behind these faces is a very important mission. We’ve been working with the Dogs’ Refuge Home on their Rural Pound Rescue project to help bridge the gap between regional needs and city resources.

In Geraldton, there are often more dogs in need than there are local families to adopt them. By bringing rescues down to Perth, we’re able to provide them with the vet care they need and connect them with a much larger community of potential adopters.

It’s a huge win for everyone. It eases the pressure on the Geraldton pound, makes the local community safer, and most importantly, gives these dogs a second chance to become loved family members. 🤍🐕

Over 100 people took to the pitch at the first Foundation Indigenous Program week! ⚽️✨ This 40-week program is a celebration of football and culture, bringing the community together at the world-class facilities in Rooty Hill.

By providing access to elite coaching and a top-tier sporting environment, this program is about more than just football; it’s a space to build confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits. A truely fantastic reminder of what’s possible when expertise meets local talent. Keep kicking goals, Wanderers 🧡
