M-Brace is excited to be working on a new trek in 2027! 🏉

The team is putting on a 50km trek to the MCG next year, arriving in time for a blockbuster game between two of the biggest clubs in the AFL. (TBA)

Trekkers will include past AFL & AFLW players, media personalities, content creators and footy fans who have been affected by mental health.

The public will be invited to join in for the last 5km as we march to the MCG while raising awareness and funds for mental health. Every dollar raised, funds FREE mental health services for those in need. 💙

Two Million Australians go without the help they need each year. Rates of anxiety, trauma and depression continue to rise, this walk is an opportunity for footy fans and athletes to come together in aid of mental health. Mental health doesn’t discriminate which is why we believe that getting help shouldn’t depend on your financial situation, this is why we walk! 🚶🚶‍♀️

A special shoot down at Dixon Park Beach yesterday with some really special people who are doing amazing things in the community.

M-Brace are a proud partner of this years Few for Shoe event, an event started by the amazing Clare Shoey in honour of her husband Liam who tragically took his own life in 2023.

On October 3rd & 4th, surfers are coming together in aid of mental health and to continue to honour Liam’s legacy. 🏄‍♂️

Teams and individuals from all over will compete over the two days. Teams from Merewether, Readhead, Crescent Head, Umina, Dudley and more! Plenty of waves, banter and fun for a cause that touches so many of us. 💙

M-Brace is proud to partner with the legends at FEW FOR SHOE 🏄‍♂️💙

This charity surfing event was inspired by the loss of Liam Schumacher who tragically lost his life to su***de in 2023.

His partner Clare, the Founder of Few for Show has made it her mission to fight the battle Liam and many others couldn’t. Recognising that su***de is the number one cause of death in Australia and its deep impact on our community, she created Few For Shoe. Using Liam’s love for surfing to bring people together, raise awareness, and encourage open conversations about mental health. 💙

3rd-4th October, Few for Shoe is back for another epic event held at Dixon Park Beach! There is still time to register a team or in the individual Single Fin Shred 🏄‍♀️

Some great cash prizes for the winners and lots of fun and banter to be had for a cause that’s so close to so many of us.

Pat's Day is always a special day at Bolwarra Lorn JSC — a day where our club comes together to remember and honour the life of Pat McFadyen, who sadly passed away on 4th July 2009

This year’s Pat’s Day will be held on Saturday 4th July 2026.

Pat’s legacy, spirit and contribution to our club continue to live on through our football community, friendships and the values that make our club so special.

This year, we will also take time to remember two wonderful ladies we have sadly lost far too soon — Liz Eagleton and Vicky Delany.

❤️ Liz was the loving wife of long-standing player James Eagleton and mother to their two beautiful girls.
❤️ Vicky was the beloved wife of Life Member Adrian Delany and mother of long-term players Nick and Josh Delany.
Both families have been a huge part of the fabric of our club for many years.

Pat’s Day is about more than football — it’s about community, friendship and remembering those who have helped shape the Bushrangers and touched the lives of so many people within it.

This year we will be raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation, Rare Cancers Australia and Mbrace through the sale of a special playing shirt that will be worn by players on the day. We would love to see as many supporters and spectators as possible get behind the cause at the ground on the day and order a shirt.

To ensure your shirts are delivered by game day orders will be closing on Thursday 28th May. Sizing is standard Australian size with free delivery in one large shipment to to the clubhouse.

All profits from shirt sales will go directly to these charities, helping support individuals and families facing incredibly difficult battles.
