🐋 ARTIST CALLOUT – PERTH 🐋

Hello WA! We’re almost back, and we’re looking for local performers to join us for our show Whale Song at Victoria Park Summer Street Party.

Come meet our giant humpback whales and create some underwater magic with us!

Ideally, you’ll have some experience in puppetry or performance — but it’s not essential.

📅 Available 12–14 November

🎭 Training provided

🔞 Must be 18+

Come along and craft your own shadow puppet with us at Lenny's Country
All ages welcome, we will be creating black cockatoos, w***y wagtails and echidnas. After our workshop you are invited to animate your puppet across our shadow screen as part of our main performance. Which critter will you bring to life?

Our first nations artists and studio makers have been busy creating all new work for this year's New Annual festival. The starring birds of our show- our w***y wagtail, black cockatoo and pelican puppet are ready for light testing and will soon be skinned and painted. The Dates family have also been busy creating freshly painted canvases, clap sticks and surf boards ready for sale on the night.

MACKAY – PERFORMER CALL OUT

Our whales are migrating up to Queensland for Daly Bay Illuminate, and we are still looking for local performers to join us for "Whale Song Reimagined".
Meet Briney Pickle Whorl (the latest addition to our whale family, pictured here) and Bernie, our giant humpback whale, and help us bring this show to life!
Ideally, you have experience in physical theatre or puppetry - but while prior experience is preferred, it is not essential: we will provide training where required.

With Port Mac Artwalk fast approaching we still have opportunities for performing artists (paid) and volunteers to join our team in bringing to life the story of Nova (pictured) and her new giant friend Zephyr. Experience working with young people, in addition to drama, physical theatre/dance, and/or puppetry ideal. On the ground training and rehearsal on the day.
