October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Robynn has an important reminder for us all.

“Stand in front of a mirror, find some good lighting and take the time to check your breasts and underarms. Get to know your body, know what’s normal for you and be aware of any changes. Know your normal!”

Our Sleap Walk 25km Challenge represents the 25 Local Government Areas across the Hunter and New England regions that the John Hunter Hospital’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) supports.

Every kilometre represents the children and families who rely on this vital care. ❤️

Every step we take at Sleap Walk is for families facing some of life's toughest challenges. ❤️

For families like Sophie Mitchell and her daughter Harriet, who have spent so much time in the John Hunter Hospital PICU, having a space to enjoy fresh air, spend time together and find a moment of peace can make all the difference.

Their story is a reminder of why we're raising funds for the PICU Courtyard and the families who need it most.
