God called us to teach the truth of the Gospel to the body of Christ with special emphasis on God’s unconditional love and the balance between grace and faith.

“Most people who are legalistic Christians don’t actually realise that’s the way they think.” - Rick (Year 1 Student, Charis Bible College Australia)

You can love God, know your Bible and still carry things you can’t see. Rick says he’s still catching this in himself, and that’s the point. There’s always more of God’s grace to discover.

Before he really dug into God’s Word, he was frustrated: doing things he didn’t want to do and feeling powerless to stop. Guilt and condemnation kept pulling him back.

Now, when he gets it wrong, he says “Thank You Jesus for Your grace” and moves on. In his words: “The Word of God and the Holy Spirit in us actually gives you the power to overcome sin.”

Maybe you’ve thought, “I already know the Bible,” or “Bible college isn’t for someone like me.” Charis isn’t about more information or more rules. It’s about seeing God’s love, and yourself, clearly. Whether you’ve been a Christian for 30 days or 30 years, there’s more freedom waiting.

2027 enrolments are open:
• Day School: Tuesday to Friday mornings, starting 28 January

Philemon 1:6
"and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ."

Many believers stay trapped in a loop of performance-based religion, constantly viewing themselves as lacking. Wommack teaches that this deficit mindset actively blocks victory.

"Faith is based on knowledge. And if you don't know what you've got and if you are just always trying to get it, you'll never get there...But once you understand that you've already got the faith of the son of God on the inside of you, uh how do you struggle to get something that you've already got? If you aren't seeing the power of God manifest in your life... it's because you aren't acknowledging what you already have." - Andrew Wommack

Be A Witness, Not A Judge - a devotional by Andrew Wommack
Bible ref: JOHN 16:8

It is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to reprove sin, righteousness, and judgment. It is not our ministry. We are simply witnesses. A witness is not the judge or the jury. A witness simply relates what he has experienced, thereby providing evidence to the truth of something. We are to witness in word and deed to the truth of Jesus being alive in us and let God be the one who convicts. We are simply to testify to what we have seen or to what has happened to us.

Some people in their zeal, have gone beyond the witness stage and have tried to bring people under conviction themselves. This is assuming the job that belongs to the Holy Spirit alone. This not only frustrates the witness but it drives many people away from God. We make a very poor Holy Spirit; therefore, we should stick to our job of being a witness and let the Holy Spirit do His job.

Are you staying comfortable in a wilderness mindset, or are you ready to step forward into your promised land? God has an abundant plan written out for your life, but His supernatural promises require you to actively move when you hear His voice.

To break the cycle of stagnation and step into your true purpose, you must actively pursue what God has spoken:

👉 Confront the fear of failure: "There are some people that have a fear of failure... and it just paralyses them so that they won't take any risk." Instead of looking at human limitations, lean entirely on the absolute certainty of His promises.
👉Stop settling for a meagre existence: "They're aiming at nothing and hitting it every time... You've got to be willing to get out of the same rut that you are in."
👉Adopt the logic of breakthrough: Ask yourself the ultimate question posed by the four lepers: "Why sit we here until we die?"

God's power works mightily in you, but it requires you to stir yourself up, stand on His Word, and take that step of faith. As the Scripture says:

"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,"

Are you walking out the unique blueprint God has for your life, or are you trying to walk in someone else's footsteps? God has an exceptional plan written out just for you, but it requires you to actively discover and step into your assignment.

As Andrew Wommack teaches on Deuteronomy 2:24, the second crucial step to victory is to take your journey. "You can't take my journey," Andrew emphasises. "You can't take somebody else's journey."

Many believers fall into the trap of routine, running on a spiritual treadmill but getting nowhere because they have no vision. To break this stagnation, you must find out exactly what God has spoken to you and follow it explicitly:
👉Stop copycatting: "You can't just try and mimic somebody else and do what God's told them to do."

👉Align with His blueprint: "Most people are doing their own thing and asking God to bless it. And I tell you, that's just like trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. It doesn't fit."

👉Value your specific role: "Not everybody's going to be the conductor of the orchestra... There are some people who are called to play the triangle. It may seem little, but that triangle and hitting it at the exact moment... is absolutely essential."

God Works In The Simple Things - a devotional by Andrew Wommack
Bible ref: JOHN 14:7

Knowing Jesus is knowing the Father. This is not only because Jesus did exactly what He saw His Father do, but Jesus was God in the flesh.

The disciples didn’t realise that seeing Jesus was seeing God. They were expecting something more. Many times we miss seeing God work in our lives and circumstances because we are looking for something stupendous. Although it is true that God is totally awesome, He doesn’t usually choose to manifest Himself in that way.

God spoke to Elijah not in the fire, wind, or an earthquake, but in a still, small voice. Jesus didn’t come to this earth in a grand way by man’s standards, but was born to poor parents in a stable. Isaiah 53:2 says that Jesus had no form nor beauty that would make us think that He was anything more than a mere man.

Are you settled in a wilderness existence, or are you ready to step into your promised land? God never made you to be a placeholder. He created you to live a life of absolute victory.

If you are waiting for things to change without taking action, remember this powerful truth from Andrew Wommack: "You got to rise up. You got to get sick and tired of being sick and tired."

Stop tolerating the boundaries of your current situation:
👉 Reject complacency: "One of the greatest enemies of that is just adjusting to your situation and getting to where you can live with it."
👉Stop embracing lack: "You do not need to embrace your problem. You do not need to adjust to your situation."
👉Cultivate holy hunger: "One of the greatest things that could happen is to have a holy dissatisfaction."

God didn't just save you for heaven later; He rescued you to experience victory right now. As the scripture says:

"For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." - 1 John 5:4

Don't stay saved and stuck. It's time to rise up, move forward, and possess everything God has for you.

Finishing Your Divine Race Well by Walking in Grace and Active Obedience

👉Grace with Obedience: God’s grace gives you approval, but your obedience shuts the door on the enemy. Many people swing like a pendulum from legalism straight into a passive view of grace, thinking lifestyle no longer matters. While sin never changes God's heart toward a believer, yielding to sin yields your life to the devil, giving him legal access to steal, kill, and destroy your destiny.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy..." - John 10:10

👉Protect Your Focus: Keep your mind stayed on God to prevent natural distractions from hardening your heart. You do not have to fall into extreme, explicit sin to derail your calling. Simply occupying your mind with completely neutral, natural things (like entertainment or sports) accumulates layers of insensitivity over time, making your heart completely callous and dull toward God’s voice.

"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you..." Isaiah 26:3

👉Make Your Withdrawal By Faith: Grace has already provided everything you will ever need, completely independent of your performance. However, those provisions will remain completely unmanifested in your life if you do not step out, take directions, and actively act like you believe God.

"Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace..." - Romans 5:2

Andrew Wommack says: "If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land... God by grace is not giving you what you deserve. But that doesn't exclude you from obeying... If I deposit a million dollars in your bank account, it's total grace. But it wouldn't benefit you at all if you didn't make a withdrawal. You have to get to where you act in agreement... if you are going to fulfill God's will."

𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲, 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗜𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗺 - a devotional by Andrew Wommack
𝘉𝘐𝘉𝘓𝘌 𝘳𝘦𝘧: 𝘔𝘈𝘛𝘛𝘏𝘌𝘞 26:27-29

The principle of the Old Covenant was ‘do’ and you shall live. The principle of the New Covenant is ‘it is done,’ and includes redemption, reconciliation, righteousness, and sanctification. The work is finished! We are complete in Him!

If the Old Covenant had no defects, there would have been no attempt to institute another (Heb. 8:7). In the Old Covenant, men found themselves unable to abide in its agreement, for it was based upon a man’s performance.

The new agreement, however, is based totally upon God’s grace. Under the Old Covenant, men approached God through a priest, while under the New Covenant, we have direct access to the Father through Jesus Christ. Under the Old Covenant, a man’s sin led to his death while under the New Covenant, God is merciful to our unrighteousness.
