We love seeing our Words from the Wise travelling through our local community 💜

Thank you Nerang Fair Shopping Centre for sharing Lorraine’s beautiful words with your community.

“Work hard and love life.”

Simple words, but pretty good ones to live by. 💜

We’re loving celebrating the wonderful people in our community throughout Seniors Month.

💜 Meet Lorraine

Lorraine is a valued member of Liberty Community Connect and our local community. We asked Lorraine to share a little advice from the wisdom she’s gathered throughout her life - and here’s what she had to say. 💜

This October, we’re celebrating Seniors Month with Words from the Wise - sharing life lessons, insights and memorable words from wonderful people, from members of our local community to some well-known voices whose words have stayed with us over the years.

Thank you, Lorraine, for sharing your words of wisdom with us!

Follow along throughout October for more Words from the Wise. 💜

🎩☕ We’re all a little mad here!
It’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party week at Liberty and we’ve been having a lot of fun with it so far!
There’s been plenty of colour, some very creative hats, tea party treats and lots of laughs along the way. 🫖🎂🎩
Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to so far this week. 💙 And we’re not finished yet!
If you’d like to get out more, meet new people and join in days like these, our Community Connections groups might be just what you’re looking for.
Give the Liberty team a call or send us a message. We’d love to tell you more about joining us. 💙

We absolutely love this 💜

One of our wonderful Liberty clients, Irene, is sharing a little of the wisdom she’s gathered over the years as part of Queensland Seniors Month.

There’s something pretty special about taking the time to listen to the stories, lessons and words of wisdom of the people in our community. 🥰

Thank you, Irene, for being part of Words from the Wise and for sharing your wisdom!

📣 We’re growing at Liberty and looking great people to join our team in Nerang!

We currently have opportunities for:

🏡 Support Workers (In Home)
A rewarding role supporting older people to continue living independently at home and staying connected to their community.

💻 Level One Administration
A great entry-level opportunity for someone who is organised, communicates well and would love to be part of a friendly, community-focused team.

At Liberty, we’re a local Gold Coast organisation and we genuinely care about the people we support and the people who work with us. We’re looking for people who bring the right attitude, enjoy being part of a team and want their work to mean something.

Know someone who might be perfect? Tag them or share this post with them. 💚

🚌 Look what’s arrived at Liberty! 💚

We’re pretty excited to introduce our new Liberty buses, all wrapped and ready to hit the road!

Our buses are such a big part of our Group Programs. They’re out and about every day picking people up from home, bringing them into Liberty and taking our groups out into the community for lunches, outings, activities and adventures across the Gold Coast.

With our programs growing, we’ve been thinking ahead about what we’ll need into the future. These new buses give our clients a safer, more comfortable and accessible way to travel, while giving Liberty the capacity to keep growing our Group Programs and creating more opportunities for people to get out, connect and enjoy life.

And we have to say… they look pretty good too! 😍

Here’s to plenty of kilometres, good conversations, new places and adventures ahead. 🚌💚✨

If you see the Liberty buses out and about, give us a wave! 👋

We’ll also be presenting our Annual Report and electing our 2026/2027 Management Committee.

Everyone in our Liberty community is welcome to join us.
