THIS CONTAINER WAS BUILT BY COMMUNITY 💛
For over 6 months, our volunteers collected, sorted, packed and prepared thousands of donated items for children and communities in Uganda.
Every box packed represented hope.
Every donation represented kindness.
Every volunteer represented community.
Now the container has arrived at the Ugandan border, and we just need one final push to release it.
Please help us finish what so many people worked so hard to make possible.

HELP RELEASE CRITICAL PROTECTIVE SUPPLIES 🩺

An Ebola outbreak has once again emerged in the region surrounding our projects in Uganda.

Thankfully, our Container of Hope is already packed with essential protective supplies including sanitiser, gloves, face masks, protective clothing and other hygiene materials.

Now we need your help to get them where they're needed.

We only need to raise $220 to clear and deliver these critical supplies to Kasese.

A small donation can make a big difference in helping keep children, staff and communities safe. 💛

“Education first. Marriage second.”

A powerful message painted on a school wall - and a reminder of why keeping girls in school matters so deeply.

Through I Am Someone sponsorships, school fees and practical support for families each term help girls stay in the classroom, continue their education, and create opportunities to break intergenerational cycles of poverty.

To our sponsors - thank you. Your support is changing futures.

For many girls across Uganda, disposable pads are the only option other than using scraps of fabric.

To dispose of them discreetly, some girls burn used pads beside the road, often with paraffin, filling the air with smoke. Others end up in latrines, clogging sanitation systems because they don’t break down.

If you want to support our work - providing reusable pads and essential household support to our girls - we’d love your support (Link in bio 🔗)

Karusandara Primary School, 18 girls spent an afternoon learning, laughing, and asking questions about something that affects every one of them - their menstrual health.
Many of these girls are teenagers still in primary school, because girls in this region often start later or miss significant time due to their periods. That cycle of absence adds up.
Each girl left with a reusable menstrual pad. But what stayed in the room was something harder to package - curiosity, openness, and a real sense of confidence building.
As the teachers told us: when girls understand their bodies and have what they need, they are far more likely to stay in school.
Thank you to everyone who helps make moments like this possible. 💛
