As we move through the shorter days of winter, we naturally seek warmth, light and connection.

What is it? Ever wondered how your favourite cheeses are made? Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly cheesemaking demo class where you’ll dive into the delicious world of dairy.
Craft creamy ricotta, excellent for adding a finishing touch to your favourite dish, discover paneer, a fresh lemony cheese perfect for curry, then the stretchy mozzarella and finally, halloumi - a great cheese for frying.

The ‘Threads of Kindness’ group at KNLC, in partnership with Boroondara Cemetery, is coming together to honour our ANZAC soldiers past, present and future this ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April 2026. As part of this special tribute, the community is invited to create red poppies in remembrance of soldiers, along with purple poppies to recognise the service of animals in war.
You can take part by collecting a poppy making kit, creating your own and adding it to the front gate installation at Boroondara Cemetery, located at:
430 High Street, Kew (under the historic Clocktower, corner of High Street and Parkhill Road)
