the ages, on the level of society, but also looking at individual development through the

involving theosophical perspectives. There will be a special focus on the development of
consciousness, and how and where the human race is advancing, based on the current situation.

ANNIE BESANT (1847-1933): SECOND PRESIDENT OF THE THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY (ADYAR), FAMOUS WRITER AND SPEAKER, PIONEER OF FAMILY PLANNING AND SOCIAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST - A CHAT SESSION –
Speaker is Christine Gwin: coordinator of the Logan Group and members of the Brisbane Theosophical Society.

Who really was Annie Besant? Born 1 October 1847, passed 20 September 1933. Besides these facts and figures, in this presentation, let's look at the person behind the veil, and step into the world of Annie Besant.

Presenter: Christine Gwin, Logan Theosophy Group: Christine joined the Brisbane Theosophical Society in November 1999 after attending a function there. A background in finance, marketing and business, working for the ATO, plus owning and managing several businesses, on retirement, Christine turned to running two volunteer groups, one the Logan Theosophy Group and the 2nd, is a farm animal rescue, specifically for battery hens and discarded hens and roosters. Two opposite ends of the 'feeding chain'.
