We’re doing a little Facebook tidy-up and bringing all Mingary Care Op Shops updates together in one place.

Just to be very clear: the shop is still open. We’re not going anywhere. We’re simply moving to one shared page for Bli Bli, Caloundra, Maroochydore and Warana.

$48,185. 🤩 Wow. Just wow.

Because of this big-hearted community, Hang Ya Boss Out to Dry for Mingary Care has raised $48,185 to help people who are dying on the Sunshine Coast and in Gympie.

To every single person who donated, shared a post, cheered from the sidelines, volunteered on the day, gave in-kind support, helped us set up, pack down, problem-solve, spruik, laugh and keep the whole thing moving — thank you.

And to our very brave bosses who went up for the cause, thank you for saying yes, showing up, and putting yourselves out there in the best possible way:

Today’s the day! 🧡

Hang Ya Boss Out to Dry for Mingary Care is happening this morning from 6.30am to 11am at our Caloundra Op Shop, with a line-up of brave local bosses heading up in the lift and staying there until they raise $5,000 each.

It’s bold, a little bit ridiculous, and all for a very good cause.

Every dollar raised helps fund free, short-term practical help for people who are dying, and the people around them — because when care can’t wait, we step in.

Come down, cheer them on, grab a coffee from the van on site, and be part of the fun.
The faster the donations roll in, the faster they come down.

And if you’re planning an op shop visit, we’re open from 9am to 1pm. Parking is available, with a few small changes in place during the event.
