**CWA AWARENESS WEEK EVENTS**
Our branches (and one group) are holding a number of events for CWA Awareness Week and we'd love you to join us.
FAR SOUTH COAST GROUP: Access to Rural Healthcare Roundtable, Bega CWA Rooms, 31 Church Street Bega, 2 September, 1:00 PM. RSVP email to Yvonne Cole [email protected]
BALLINA: Stall at Ballina Fair, Ballina Fair Shopping Centre, 5 September, 8:30 AM.
BELLINGEN: Display at Bellingen Library, and a street stall, Library, and Shopping center Bellingen, 28 August. Street stall 9.00am til 12.00pm Cakes, jams, plants, and handicraft as well as a raffle.
CAMDEN: September 6th Camden CWA will be holding a tea room at Unlock Camden Heritage Festival 2026, Alan Baker Art Gallery, 5 September, 10:00 AM. This is a free community event.
CONDOBOLIN: We are hosting a car boot sale for the community, Condobolin Community centre, 12 September, 9:00 AM.
EDEN BRANCH: Visiting relevant medical facilities to show appreciation for the work they do. Eden, 11 September.
GLOUCESTER EVENING: Scone Stall and CWA Display, Church Steet, Gloucester, 19 September, 9:00 AM.
GUNGAHLIN: In conjunction with our Fathers Day stall, Bunnings Gungahlin, 5 September, 9:00 AM.
HARDEN: We are holding a Springtime High Tea. CWA rooms in Harden, 26 September. $30pp. RSVP by 18 September. Phone 0408 184 092 to book tickets. Payment at time of booking please.
HORNSBY & DISTRICT: Open Day at our Craft/Friendship Day, Hornsby Youth & Family Centre Hornsby, 25 September, 9:30 AM. All Welcome, come along and see what we do.
MAITLAND: A craft morning making wind chimes from recycle tin cans and a devonshire morming tea, 46 Church St, Maitland 2320 or hall, 9 September, 10:00 AM.
MORUYA: Talk by rural health advocate Dr Arn Sprogis (rtd) about the key elements of the rural health crisis in NSW and what they mean for our community in the Eurobodalla. CWA Moruya Hall, 11 September, 1:30 PM.
NIMBIN: Open Day at Branch for prospective new members wishing to know more about CWA, CWA Nimbin Branch room Nimbin Community Centre, Cullen St Nimbin, 10 September, 9:30 AM.
PICTON DISTRICT: We will display at our Cancer council biggest morning tea, Wollondilly community nursery, 22 September, 10:00 AM. All welcome.
PORT MACQUARIE: Display and guest speaker (Stroke Awareness) at Tearooms on 4 September, In our rooms on Town Green, 4 September.
SCONE & DISTRICT: Luncheon at Moonan Flat Memorial Hall, Moonan Flat in the Moonan Memorial Hall, 10 September, 11:00 AM. $20 per person two course meal Guest Speaker Trevor Lynch Maitland HealthStay Project.
