Our Circle Maitland

Our Circle Maitland is a not-for-profit charity devoted to assisting those who are struggling to make ends meet, feeling disconnected, are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

We provide a free food service to anyone who asks.

We also provide a safe place to feel accepted in our community.

We previously operated a BBQ underneath Maitland Library every Saturday night. Commencing this Saturday night we will be offering a food service at The Hope Church in the Cinema complex Maitland 13/1a Ken Tubman Drive Maitland commencing at 5pm

📣 𝘼𝙉𝙉𝙊𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 📣

With heavy hearts, Anthony and I are announcing our departure from Our Circle Maitland 😭

The past 18 months have been an incredibly exciting journey as we (well, mostly Anthony) expanded the Reach Homeless Service from Newcastle to our beautiful Maitland community.

It has been an absolute privilege to meet so many wonderful patrons, dedicated volunteers, and incredible community members. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

Now, it’s time for our little baby, Our Circle Maitland, to continue growing in the hands of passionate volunteers who have the time and energy to nurture it. As for us, we’re focusing on our young family and the next chapter ahead.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, kindness, and everything you've helped us achieve for our community. We will miss you all dearly.

📢 Service Update 📢

We’re still in the process of renewing our licence at the library for our weekly Saturday service, which unfortunately remains on hold for now.

Fingers crossed only one more week 🤞

Next week is our AGM, where we’ll have more updates to share. Keep an eye on this page, and thank you for your patience while our volunteers enjoyed a well-earned break over Christmas. We can’t wait to be back serving our community!

Our Circle Maitland doesn’t receive any federal government grants (fingers crossed for the future🤞) and relies on the support of our amazing local community.

With no paid staff and running purely off volunteers, we’re able to give all donations back to our community.

We’re about to launch our Brand New Outreach Meal Service, but we need a 𝙫𝙖𝙣 to transport our equipment, supplies and meals.
I’m reaching out to our community to see if anyone can help in any way by helping with the following? 🤞
