Maitland Nepalese Community – Fundraising Update

We are pleased to share that $1,196.00 AUD has been successfully raised for the people affected during the recent Gen Z protest movement in Nepal.

After transaction fees of $29.61 AUD, a total of $1,166.39 AUD has been transferred to the Maitland Nepalese Community bank account. This amount will shortly be sent to the appropriate authority in Nepal to support those in need.

We sincerely thank all donors and well-wishers who contributed to this cause. Your generosity and support are truly valuable and deeply appreciated.

United We Can – Support for Our Young Adults Victims of 8th September Gen Z protestors 🙏

Maitland Nepalese Community

Dear Community Members,

Let us come together in solidarity with our brothers and sisters of Nepal, especially the brave young Gen Z protestors who lost their lives while fighting for a better nation against corruption. As Maitland Nepalese Community, we humbly request your support in raising funds to honor their sacrifice and assist their families.

Already, 19 lives have been lost and more than 150 individuals injured. These young souls are the martyrs of our country, and their struggle must not be forgotten.

Though we are far from Nepal, we remain united. With a small contribution from our community, we can pay tribute to those who gave everything and provide some comfort to their grieving families.

Every single drop of blood shed for justice carries a promise—that it will not go in vain. Together, let’s support, remember, and spread awareness among our generation that unity is our strength.
