MDJCA U12s and U13s REP TRIAL - Change of Venue: 20th March

Due to weather, we have decided to move the trials to the Maitland Indoor Centre.

Venue: Maitland Indoor Centre - 37 Hinkler Ave, Rutherford NSW 2
Time: 5.30 - 7.30pm
Cost: $10 per player for venue hire (paid on arrival).
Players wear club gear (no rep clothing please)
Bring a water bottle, kit, and ball.

U14s and U15s Trials still scheduled for 27th March at Norm Chapman

Trials for U12s and U13s will take place on Friday 20th March at Norm Chapman Oval. Trials for U14s and U15s age group will take place at Norm Chapman oval on Friday 27th March. Both trials will commence at 4.30pm - 6.30pm

MDJCA Junior Representative Trials.

The MDJCA is committed to providing quality representative pathways for our junior players.

Teams will play in the Greater Hunter Competition and various Age group carnivals.

All aspiring young players are encoraged to attend relevant trials.

Details for the upcoming MDJCA representative trials are:

U12s + U13s
Date: Friday 20th March
Venue: Norm Chapman Oval, Rutherford
Time: 4.30 - 6.30 pm (registration from 4.15pm)
Format: Centre wicket simulation + fielding drills

U14s + U15s
Date: Friday 27th March
Venue: Norm Chapman Oval, Rutherford
Time: 4.30 - 6.30 pm (registration from 4.15pm)
Format: Centre wicket simulation + fielding drills

U17s - Expressions of interest from U16s + U17s age groups. Trial will take place later in the year. U17s will compete in the Watson Shield

U11s - No action required. Nominations and trials will take place later in the year.

A shoutout to our clubs and curators for your tireless hard work in providing such amazing facilities. Maitland is one of the few associations that offer juniors the opportunity to play the majority of matches on turf wickets!

MDJCA sends a big congratulations to all junior players and coaches whose season has come to an end.
Hopefully, you reflect on all the fun and growth you’ve had getting outdoors and making memories with your mates!
Cricket Is a challenging sport, which brings many highs and lows, but thats why we love it - it teaches us so much about ourselves!
We thank you for helping make Maitland junior cricket one of the best competitions around.
To players, make sure you thank your parents for all the help and love.
