When politics actually makes sense! ⬇️

"I want to be clear that this is not a ‘green light’ to drive high.

This reform ensures we’re not criminalising patients who are taking a legitimate, legal medicine."

Thanks Jenny Aitchison MP

Chatting to the TODAY show this morning about our proposed reforms to make sure drivers who use medicinal Cannabis aren’t automatically penalised with drug presence offences.

This is a commonsense reform that means patients who are taking legally-prescribed cannabis will no longer face criminalisation for driving with small amounts of THC in their system.

This is a good day for hundreds of thousands of people across the state who have been taking medicinal cannabis since it was made legal in 2016.

I want to be clear that this is not a ‘green light’ to drive high.

This reform ensures we’re not criminalising patients who are taking a legitimate, legal medicine.

Looks like a it would be a great night! See you there.

Ever heard of Tropical soda apple? 🤔

Well, it's a highly invasive prickly w**d and it's been found at the Maitland Saleyards in Rutherford 🌱

A single plant can produce up to 45,000 seeds a year, and it can outcompete pasture and restrict livestock movement.

If you think you've spotted this w**d, report it to our Biosecurity team to help stop the spread ▶️ 4934 9700
