⭐️Artist Highlight!⭐️
We're delighted to showcase the beautiful handmade & recycled creations of local artist Ryan Mirigliani. 🕺
🏋️♂️ Since leaving school last year, Ryan has been exploring & developing his passion for creative activities, alongside music programs and fitness therapies.🎼
What began as a sensory activity at home has grown into a creative project that combines sustainability, craftsmanship and self-expression .🪡
While family members have assisted and lent their time and resources (shout out to Ryan’s Aunty, a serious scrap booker and gym enthusiast! 💪 Those big muscles have come in handy with some of the more manual labour), Ryan still leads the core making process and inspiration for all the designs.👨🎨
Using a sensory friendly process of tearing, pulping and forming recycled paper into new sheets, Ryan creates unique gift tags, gift boxes and seasonal items. 🔖
🎨 This process allows him to work at his own pace while building confidence, developing and engaging his motor skills and expressing his creativity. 🎁
The best part? Every piece is made with care and nothing goes to waste, since every offcut is returned to the paper pulp to be used again and again. 🫶
Even your New Year's resolutions aren't this sustainable! 🤣
