We had to get a new front fence as the fence was nearly falling down.

So we got new sign put up on fence, so mum used the old letters and put it in our little rainforest.

Also the scrubs we are wearing are Hey Sisters, they were given to us as a gift, we love working with the birds in our scrubs as they are so comfy.

This beautiful pelican has been worrying us, so we went in yesterday there five minutes and he was in our arms, the poor darling has a very injured leg due to the hook being in his leg for a while.

Our hearts were so worried for him, but glad he is in our care now so he can have antibiotics and pain relief, now he can rest without being in so much pain.

One thing he is a very snappy pelican that we love , he will recover from this , just needs love , time and patience.

Our uncle Bruce couldn’t believe how quick we got him.

Then we also released two pelicans that were in our care due to hook injuries and line entanglement, gave them a good luck kiss to keep safe.

This beautiful swan twinkle has been in our care for a few weeks now, the Australia zoo wildlife hospital gave us a phone call to care for her, she went for a vet check, her blood test and X-ray’s have improved, the vets at Australia zoo wildlife hospital was very happy with her progress as she was diagnosed with aspergillosis, which affects the lungs.
So she has been on medication for it and she isn’t stressed at all, twinkle is in our care for another three weeks, while she has been in our care she has adopted the two little ones, they all love one another as you can see in the video.

A couple of days ago we received this beautiful silver gull from wildlife Noosa, they got a phone call from members of the public.

They weren’t using their yacht so the silver gulls must of thought it was the safe place to lay their eggs, the silver gulls were very aggressive towards the people, so they wanted the baby removed William try really hard to convince the people to leave the chick there, but they wanted their yacht back.

So we are caring for him now, he has settled in quite well and eating too.

This beautiful lady phoned up for advice so we did and she listened by putting holes in the ice cream container, it’s so beautiful how you can save the babies instead of taking them into care, as the parents really love there babies, such a beautiful result for babies and parents, even better the lady kept a good eye out to see if it had worked out.
So a big thank you to the lady who reunited this family.

On Saturday we received a phone call about this beautiful juvenile ibis.

Mum and our volunteer friend Julie went in to rescue this poor sweet heart ❤️ .

When they got back we knew straight away it was botulism, so we started giving him his care that he needed.

Within two days he was showing good progress, then another few days he was up on his feet.

So glad the lady phoned and mum and Julie for picking him up, so a big thank you.

Also we are so happy that we have saved another ibis that was so so sick.

We removed the hook and line from his wing, as the people said he couldn’t fly due to the hook and line so a big thank you to you both.
