Back in 2016, our parents took us on a trip to East Africa that completely changed our perspective on life.
We visited multiple orphanages, witnessed real need, but also saw the impact our family was making in the lives of others.
On that trip, we met someone very special - Boniface Lymo, our safari guide.
He guided us through Arusha, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti… and became so much more than just a guide. He left a lasting imprint on our family.
Boniface was one of those souls whose heart you feel instantly.
The kind of person who makes you see the beauty in the world, who goes above and beyond to make every moment meaningful.
Even today, we still remember the stories and songs he shared with us.
Late last year, Boniface passed away following a vehicle accident after a safari. He was just 54.
His family have been working to rebuild the safari vehicle that was his livelihood.
They’ve already raised half of what’s needed within their local community…
And now, we’ve been asked if we can help with the final stage - to get it back on the road.
As a community, we’re looking to raise $6,000 AUD to help complete the rebuild.
This isn’t just about giving.
It’s about helping a family continue what he started.
