What a wonderful night celebrating our swimmers, families, coaches and volunteers at the Kiama Swim Club Summer Pointscore, Club Championships & Walker Shield Presentation Night. 🏊‍♂️💙

It was fantastic to recognise the achievements of our swimmers throughout the season, from first-time carnival competitors through to those representing Kiama at Country, State and International level.

Congratulations to all of our age champions and award recipients recognised on the night, along with our swimmers who achieved representative honours throughout the season. A special shoutout to Trae Spencer for competing on the world stage at the Para Swimming World Series.

We’re incredibly proud of how much our club has grown over the past 12 months, both in membership and in strengthening our club identity within the Kiama community. A huge thank you to our Club Captains Sarah and Alannah for their outstanding leadership this season.

Thank you also to our amazing coaches, our dedicated families, and our hardworking committee volunteers who make everything possible behind the scenes.

Most importantly, congratulations to every swimmer who represented Kiama Swim Club with pride this season.

KSC’s Trae Spencer competed at the 2026 Australian Age & Australian Open Championships on the Gold Coast last week.

Trae competed in 8 events qualifying for 4 finals and he swam 4 PB’s!

It was his first time competing as an S10 athlete at a major event and he learnt a lot along the way.

KSC took on the Youth State Age LC Championships at SOPAC this weekend with fantastic energy and determination!
A special mention to our swimmers:
Hunter – smashed a 2 second PB in the 50m butterfly!
Olivia – achieved 3 PBs across 4 events… amazing effort!
We’re so proud of the commitment and hard work on display 👏

What an extraordinary moment for Kiama Swim Club!
Our very own Trae has just returned from an unbelievable experience competing at the World Para Swimming World Series – Gold Coast 2026 as a Next Wave athlete and what a week it was!

This performance marks an exciting new chapter in Trae’s journey, proving that hard work, resilience and belief truly pay off on the world stage.
Trae would like to sincerely thank his coach and the entire team at Kiama Swim Club for their unwavering support and encouragement. He is incredibly grateful to everyone who cheered him on, both poolside on the Gold Coast and from back home. Your support means everything.
The future is looking very bright for this athlete and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
