🧑 We have been so extremely busy here at Oracle, with the increasing demand on our front line services, we are so grateful that this community knows where to seek support for their physical, emotional, and physchological wellbeing.
Thank you for entrusting us with supporting you all on your journeys, there is no bigger reward than stronger communities 🧑

In saying that, we were honoured to have been asked to attend a day of music, youth and families in support of Firefly Bay and Basin Youth Music Festival, Beats On Burton, on Sunday 26th April here at our Burton St location.

And what a day of young, local, talented musicians it was, well done to FireFly and all involved in this fabulous, fun filled day, we're looking forward to the next one 🎸🀘🏽🎢

Through her amazing online platform Lisa's Sanctuary, thousands of women find information, inspiration and comfort from Lisa's lived exerience, strength and voice.

Lisa is also a writer and her book 'Why I stayed' is a raw and honest account of living with Domestic Violence, and the pathway leading into, through and the journey of trauma recovery in the aftermath.

🧑 Another sneak peek of our interview series of local, inspirational women, we have been busy filming and connecting with some amazing women in our community over the last few weeks.

All in celebration of International Women's Day 2026 πŸŽ‰

This year's theme is 'Give To Gain' so we asked some pretty fabulous women, to share their knoweldge, experience and stories of what it looks like to be a woman today.

So in the lead up to IWD 2026, we will be dropping a few snippets here every few days, as a sneak peek for you to enjoy and to get us all thinking, about our own journeys as women in today's world 🧑

A huge Thankyou to Tamara from MCCI (Multicultural Communities Council Of Illawarra) & Corin from APM Employment Services for their time, patience and honesty in sharing their stories with us all πŸ™πŸ½

🧑 We drink BIG coffees here at Oracle, some days it must honestly give us super powers.

We needed it today after we managed to sucessfully support not one, but two beautiful families to gain access to safe and secure short term accommodation.

This means that there are two more families in our community, that are not at risk of homelessness tonight 🧑
